For anyone hating on Quackity saying his Spanish isn’t good or he isn’t translating right if he sat there and did word for word translation 1 it would be entertaining and 2 it’s impossible cause not everything translates to English exactly. He explains what is happening and adds voices, and curses and stuff to make it more entertaining. For people who are annoyed he’s pausing you can look up the episodes and watch it if you want but he needs to pause to add commentary so he doesn’t miss parts.
Yea, sometimes if you direct translate. The grammar doesn’t make sense or the term doesn’t make sense so you gotta like twist it a bit to be grammatically correct
Facts and also Spanish is different depending what race of hispanic u are because I have been rewatching his streams like this and he says it himself some of the words that are said in the show means something completely different from what he has learned and also some hispanics can say a thing as something but somebody else has a different word for it. For example, some Hispanics say boligrafo or lapiz or even pluma for pen so quackity's translation may not be the same to others who speak Spanish. But at least he those his best for non Spanish speakers to understand because terms in Spanish make no sense really in English depending on what is being said.

@@konpeitojellie lol rose is literally the rose 🌹. In the show “La Rosa de Guadalupe” it’s based of the Virgin Mary. Every time the Virgin Mary would answer their prayers a rose would appear. So basically when the white rose appears (in the show it doesn’t happen in real life) it means that the Virgin Mary answered/heard their prayers. And usually when a rose would a appear a gust of wind also appears with the rose thus the hair starts flowing lol

Honestly, I can understand her. Pearla(her) is sad in reality because of her dad leaving them, so she got into something that made her happy and decided to create a character(Namiko Moon) that is happy and has "missions" to give her something to do with life. She doesn't deserve to get bullied for what she loves, but I do agree that it's cringey to cosplay and act at school. She should just cosplay and act/roleplay outside of school. But I do understand her though and I can relate to an extent. Like I like to rp and cosplay because I feel happy acting as anyone else but myself, but I don't do it at school because that's just a bit too far😅😂

I think the main problem that Quackity missed in this episode is that the girl is using cosplay to cope with her feelings of her dad leaving her. She’s dressing and acting as someone else bc she doesn’t want to be herself and that’s a really unhealthy way to cope with anything tbh

I am Mexican and the translation that Quackity gives is correct, it is true that there are words that are changed or added, such as curses, but it does not change the meaning of what the person says and there are phrases that have to be changed because they are not possible to translate into English, but in itself the translation that Quackity gives is correct to understand what the characters say.
And he is Mexican, so the Spanish he knows has words with different meanings compared to neutral Spanish, since each Spanish-speaking country has different words and different meanings that are not taught in neutral Spanish, and since the soap opera is Mexican, Quackity treats to translate it in such a way that what is said can be understood
