And I never saw those bugs in all the time I have had my birds. And I did in the past got mites But it was from my chickens 🐓. So now I know that the seeds can have eggs....that can breed out. That seeds sticking together I have seen that , and I knew that the packet was oldish seeds...it’s a no no.....I do like your information. And the demonstrations. 🌹❤️🌹❤️
Well coming back about cleaning seeds. I washed my seeds the other day and left them to dry ... and the next day thy where fermenting and soggy and had fruit flies on them. I just tossed them in the dirt box , maybe I should of spread it on a sheet .... 🤷🏼♀️

mixing seeds depends on the season. for example, in the summer,lessen fatty seeds. or when breeding, increase high protein seeds. i will do an in depht video on this in the future. but commercial seed mix with a little of sunflower seeds will do well all year. just feed varieties of leafy greens. 😊
I like the vacuum hose on end of bottom cut out milk jug trick. Put seeds in tub. Cut bottom of gallon milk jug off flat. Put vacuum hose on jug top. Vacuum only pulls up empty light seeds
Sir pls help me My African love bird the female is making her wings like aireoplane and tail lifting up but the male bird (I belive the other one is male) not minding and walk away with no mercy.) But they are feeding and loving eachother.The female bird is becoming thin not eating well. Busy making nest .what should I do? Pls reply with a good solution . Thank you

Thank you. How can you tell if a bird is pregnant? I have 2 birds and dont know sexes. One is slightly larger and does the "dance" with the wings infront of the other so I guess its a girl. I inheritaged them so dont know their age. I guess 1 or 2 year and no eggs so far. How do you tame your birds?
you can tell if she is pregnant by looking at her vent area, it is bulky and puffy just by looking. are they already pair? you can tell if they sleep together at night and usually the male feeds her. make sure they have nest box and nesting materials to encourage them to breed,and everyday veggies. preferably greens. and about taming, best is to do handfeeding since 3 weeks of age. or try clipping their flight feathers for matured birds. 😊
They always sit together and sleep next to eachother and they feed eachother and "cuddle" on the rope and branches. Its so sweet and adorable. Can two males/two females act like a" couple " and feed/cuddle/scratch eachother to?We gave them a "nest" of hay to look like the natural nests outside and they where always sleeping and laying next to eachother. Someone told us that a house for birds was bad. Is it okey to have? We have never had birds. My grandfather died and we took over his 2 Fischers lovebirds. He was old and sick and could not interact with them so much but we are talking to them and sitting next to the cage and I stick in my hand with seeds but so far they havnt dared to go on my hand. Still "jumpy" but alot better now, aspecially with me. Love your videos alot. Im trying to learn and give the birds the best life & enviroment I can. Any tip is super. Cant wait for your next video! :D
inefficient and ineffective way to clean your seeds from pathogens, bugs, and insecticides. you should wash it in clean water for a couple of times and dry the seeds in the oven.

how about making or buying your own seed blower? just to avoid inhaling all the dust and that mess?
yes, you can also use seed blower. but most of us don't have one.

I use a straw to blow the seed husks and dust from their bowl outside every day. I found using a straw kept the dust from flying into my face lol.
