I have an iPhone 8 plus, when it gets a little hot or I use it very often, the touch screen starts to fail or give ghost touches, could it be a motherboard problem or do I need to change the screen?
My phone works from some angles but it got hit on one of the sides and wont work from that one area is it the same problem?

After remove home button connecter
Touch working fine
Without. Home button I have found 5.7 volt on c5601
With home button voltage drops

Hi what is that chip you replaced called and where do you get it from please ? iPhone 8 has a new original Apple screen refurbished and still no touch home button and Touch ID works just no touch on screen regards

my iphone 8+ is unresponsive, i tried a hard reboot, turning it off and on again, scanning for viruses, and cleaning it. i feel like doing this would be like a last resort for it nothing else works. any suggestions of how to get the screen to be responsive again?

Francisco Javier Valdez mira a veces lo reiniciaba y andaba bien pero de todas formas lo tuve que mandar al service técnico para que me lo solucionen, era un problema con el módulo del táctil que estaba dessoldado

Hey, i have similar problem. If only screen to logicboard is connected touch work but if connected home button and screen - only home button works but touch stop working. Can you help me if there is problem with power supply as well?
I have 2 in shop now with same issue. If I remember I’ll tell you what I found. 👍🏽 So weird the touch only works with the screen flex connected. So its a great symptom to go by. I took a peak at the board view and it seems there are a couple of lines tied up with the home button/“3D touch” (whatever it was called) flex. From what I remember now it has a sync line probably for timing and several data lines. The ic he dealt with in video seems to create and send 2.7V to the home button flex.
I was rather trolled actually because the phone came in for no home button. I first notice a shorted cap by the home button fpc and replaced it. Still no home button. Then I notice the home button flex is torn. I fix the screen by replacing the back of the backlight which includes the flex with another original part. Now I got no touch. And since I just manhandled the screen I thought I busted it until I decided to test it with just the one flex connected. Nope it turns out I got a board with 2 issues and a broken flex. All this headache for a phone that came with no home button. Massive trolling by other shop and apple design.
Next in pile another 8p no touch board issue. 😱 I disconnect the home button flex and the touch works. I got 2 phones with the same issue. Hope its the ic in this video.
@@jesusyuca1483 I already solved the problem. It was just poor connection of ground in LCD connector. It can happened after few reconnections of screen. Can be fixed easily by bending of ground pins (in motherboard screen connector) to have better contact.
@@michalbalicek2309 opps forgot. 😁 yea I did too. Next video I looked at was by sts telecom. He explained it beautifully. After speaking with the other shop apparently it was normal for the shop to cut the home flex when they get into this issue. 🤦🏽♂️ I explained it to them.

I was also told that chip you replaced is something to do with the home button and not the actual touch screen ?
The reasons that can cause capacitor C5601 has no +5.1V working voltage are: defect power supply IC U5600, touchline failure, and home button line failure, etc.; based on our experience, most touch issue caused by the home button line failure, so we start troubleshooting with the home button line. Nevertheless, home button line chip U5890 is the main reason to cause home button line failure, that's why we troubleshoot the problem by replacing the chip directly

Phone Repair Share thank you for replying I fixed the problem and it’s been a month since it started working only problem now is that when it suddenly started working again the front selfie camera is non responsive and I cannot Use it on the camera app nor Snapchat Instagram ect it’s unresponsive and black , everything else seems to be fine with it the back camera works screen is working and responsive!!!!???
@@finoballout Hi, Fino, sorry for the late reply, our technician suggest you can try to repair your camera in the following steps: 1. replace a front camera and see if the problem fixed; 2. measure the diode resistance of the front camera connector, and repair accordingly; 3. measure the power supply of the front camera and repair accordingly. best of luck!
