I'm 65 now , but I still remember those creek fishing adventures with my Dad and his buddies when I was 6 or 7 . Fished the creeks off Lake Tawakoni for crappie . I'm sure it must have been a pain in the butt to haul all the extra stuff for a kid , sleeping bag , quilt and such . Not to mention just having to keep an eye on me so I didn't get snake bit ! Great memories , great Friends ! Thanks for reminding me of those awesome adventures 🙂👍👍
dang, Ty…that’s an old Señor Snapper. It’s carapace size alone puts him (not her) over 50 years old, while his dorsal ridges’ heights tell me that he’s over the 70-75 year scale & their definition put him older than that. they do not have to weigh over 100lbs to be 90+ years old…it depends on their environment. if they do not encounter prolonged periods of food scarcity, they are content in feeding as needed, breeding & hanging out in inactive states. if they have experienced a stressed ecosystem, then they will feed as much as possible or relocate in search of a better habitat. I’d bet $20k that Snapper was around during WWII, with a decent chance that it was alive before the Lusitania was U-Boated by that B i t c h Schwieger.
Love the commando creek videos! Dinosaur hunting Texas creeks and remote rivers is a right of passage growing up in this great state. Spent my younger years doing the same thing in the Texas hill country. Keep up the great work Ty you're absolutely killing it!
These muddy creek adventures are dear to my heart. So many times I came home covered in muck often missing a shoe, bloody stripes on legs and arms from briars on the hunt for untouched fish! Stav is already a beast! Thanks Ty, for mixing it up and all the work we know nothing about to make this possible for us. U da man 💪👊
You are so fortunate to have great fishing in USA, seems there is fish in every drop of water. In South Africa we have only got the dreaded carp left in our fresh water. You have to go far to get bass or trout
That was an awesome video. The conditions you have to endure, the slippery slopes and the mud...whoo. That turtle was something else. Thanks for sharing this. Your videos are a great way to destress at the end of the day.
See how good he is at track and field..... creek style.... classic 😲. Dang it my float down there is moving now ..good problems to have. So cool you take these guys to where the biggens are. That's a baby turtle 🤠. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏 you're going to need it.
Bro!!... I'm exhausted from just watching this video 😆 Ty is hardcore no doubt. Young brother is willing to put in the work it takes to catch these monsters. Great stuff...
Glad to see those big turtles thriving down there by you guys. You’re the only one catching them on a regular basis. I raised one from a baby until she was 40 pounds. And outgrew the 400 gallon tank!
The things you go through to get these fish are crazy! From being in knee high mud, scaling down cliffs and walking through the water where somthing could chomp you just like the gar fin. It all makes for some of the best videos out there! So rad🔥
That turtle was cheezed off!! That's insane to catch 60lbs of snapper and have it be that mean!!!! Great video! I like those creek videos. Where I live we have lots of creeks that are rumored to harbor large Flathead....my turn to catch one now!!
Another day of reality fishing. For Ty. I go through all that work and my reality is a bit different. Thanks for all the adrenaline and excitement. Great video.
I need to get to Texas and fish these creeks some day. Creek fishing is wild especially when you can see the fish in the water, like salmon and steelhead or something. You should try this up north if you're ever up there fishing. Muskie are something everyone needs to experience. I suggest late July, like right about now go up to Minnesota. The Muskie are really active there, if there's a full moon towards the end of July. You can troll large baits for them, with decent success rate, hooked up on 3/3 trips so if you need a guide let me know. There's great fishing all over the country and across the borders, I'm sure you will go on many adventures.
I have seen one alligator snapping turtle that was bigger, but it was in an aquarium. He was old and had been injured in the wild, so he had huge metal staples holding his skull together. They named him Frankenturtle.
Nice video man love your videos keep up the good work and go catch some more big ones and that snapping turtle was really cool looking last alligator snapping turtle that I saw was last year and I have never seen a alligator gar before in the wild
Another awesome video. I don’t know how you find these monsters. If I went through all those weeds I’d spend the next week in the hospital recovering from poison ivy lol.
TY, you must be a descendant of Ponce De Leon, some of these places you find look like places he would have explored when he was looking for the fountain of youth. I know if you found the fountain, you would catch a monster fish out of it😁... I'm still living vicariously through you man. 👍👍.

Gil, what kind of fish did you catch after coming home with bloody strikes on your legs and arms?
@@SideHustleInspiration Smallmouth bass, flatheads, and a few blues. It was worth it!
@@GilAcee wonderful!

Awesome video! It’s a good day when u catch a 100 ib fish in a small creek but it’s an even better day when Ty uploads!
Very interesting adventure for a city creek. I dont think I would even wade in that creek without a pair of steel toe boots!
The things you go through to get these fish are crazy! From being in knee high mud, scaling down cliffs and walking through the water where somthing could chomp you just like the gar fin. It all makes for some of the best videos out there! So rad🔥
Those conditions looked brutal but you managed to pullout a couple nice job!

ABSOLUTE MONSTER MAN 🤯😵
Just out there jammin' out on cheerios and fishin' hahaa! Maybe the ol' snapper woulda been nicer if ya offered it a bowl!
There’s gators down there too, and none of the reasons why I wouldn’t take a swim, might end up with an extra limb instead of one less. Lol!
