World of Warplanes | Beginners Guide Pt II | Equipment and Basic Tactics

- Assuming you have completed a day or so of flying and grinding down the Brit line you should be to the Bristol or even the Spitfire at this point. This video was developed to match that progression. Now you can start throwing equipment on your plane and learn the tactics of world of warplanes a bit more.

Just started this game yesterday. I have played world of tank blitz for 5 years and world of warships blitz for several months. Now that I have the land and the sea pretty well figured out, I'm trying to learn air combat lol. These vids are helping, so many thanks.
WOW, I almost gave up on this game......spent $70 too ....but I GOT THE GERMAN DO GOLD....now I understand why they all STOMP ME IMMEDIATEly ...... BY THE WAY >>> I AM A NAVY PILOT and I use a Combat Joystick and a NATRUAL FLYER AND ACE .... I now see hope ...... and HOW I CAN RULE THE SKYS ....ZAC - OVER AND OUT ... for now .... CHEERS !!!!!
I appreciate these tips, this was the only videos that actually taught me some stuff in the beginning. all the others were just talking opinion smh

Hello. Thank you for the beginners guide and I should really continue playing.
Another good video, Vee! I wonder where the right moment to talk about relative capture point values is important. I thought you'd get to it on the merry-go-round map with 2 military bases and 2 garrisons. That's one of the issues where lack of understanding really impacts winrate.
Aaron Banks later is the short answer. I am trying not to overload the new player initially. I know what my expectations are for new players so I’d rather they can fly well enough that they are better than a bot, placement comes later

I find speed builds are better on Spitfires. You lose just a little maneuverability but (with Aerodynamics Expert) you get the speed to compete with some of the energy fighters. It's so satisfying to run down Bf-109 Fs and P-51As who think they can outrun you
MarvinT it’s versatile for sure, another good reason to make it a starter craft for new people.
This game needs an American medium bomber line and a British heavy bomber line. For the Americans they could use the late model Mitchel as tier 7 then reskin the nose with the 75mm and introduce it as a premium attack model. That would be an easy money maker then the could introduce the marauder as a premium medium bomber

From episode 1 to episode 2 your gold balance has dropped considerably...why is this not talked about ? I have no gold how did you get that amount of gold ?
I cannot use consumable. I press one or 2 in all time battle but they are out. I mount them in service but nothing.
Marco Nadal I will have to look into that, it’s an issue I’ve never heard before. I will ask the clan mates and see if they know of a fix. Have your tried clearing the cache? There is a small arrow next to the PLAY button in the launcher, the top option is launch game and clear cached data. I’ll keep digging but let me know if that works
thanks for the viedo Veebat, maybe a good video could be how to flight and fight in a heavy fighter, tier V and IV have the best heavys of the game like the P-38 and the ki-102 but they are tricky, fight in those "energy" heavy fighters is very enjoyable
Hansclaw later I will dive into the different roles outside the mid-alt turn fighter. The idea behind this series is advising a new player and introducing concepts as they progress to each threshold. Ex 1. Learn the basic controls, 2. Equipment and basic tactics, 3. Team play, 4. Advanced tactics, controls and specialization... etc. heavies/GAs/bombers/multi-role/alt-fighters come later as stand alone videos in the series. That is the plan at least.

I followed your line from video and i got just now my spitfire 1 airplane. Problem is that i have only 60k credits and i cannot put any equipment, what would you sudgest to make fast credits beside playing a premium plane ?
Boomerang was quite good plane in reality but never shoot down somebody in real battle ) Thanking to Veebat we can imagine what the machine could do in crafty hands )

I have been playing since CBT, stopped when Warships CBT started and left Warplanes.
Now Corona made me return and i kinda like that new Warplanes Game, but there are some things i'm really confused about.
One or two premium planes are not in my Hangar anymore and i'm not able to find/fit my CBT Patch in the Paint shop anymore.
can you or anyone eles help me out explaining?
Seb Bru glad to have you back but sorry to hear you lost some stuff. Suggest a trouble ticket. I have had good results and relatively fast. I don’t think there are as many coming in as there are for bigger titles like WoWS and WoT.
Thank you so much for these guides! Just one thing: I've finally copped a spifire, and upgraded to 20's & a better engine. BUT, now that I've finally got enough dosh for a gunsight, for some absurd reason, I can't seem to buy and/or mount one! If I go via the upgrades, select collimator gunsight, then "purchase & mount" it just breaks out the "loading" animation and absolutely nothing happens - only way to reset is ctrl+alt+del and kill WoWP with taskman. I also tried going via the depot, but to no avail! Any ideas?
Have you tried starting the game with a cache clear? Next to the play button on the launcher there is an arrow that gives you different launch options and it is in there. But I ha e to admit I haven't gotten that bug myself
@@Veebat Gave it a go, but didn't do any good.. Wierd! (..and annoying!) When I try to purchase it in the depot I'm prompted for confirmation, but instead of getting that "reciept"-box it just greys out the purchase button and nothing changes - at least the whole game doesn't soft lock when I try it that way. But, still; No sight for you!! Thanks for the reply anyway, though.. 👍
Which tech tree outside the UK line should I focus on to start with? I had to re-start my account to have it on steam. Before I was up to tier 4 in the American and German lines. Any suggestion would really be appreciated. =)
Spitfire line is the most forgiving and versatile. Although if you are in it for a tier X and not the journey the multiple line ends with the Hunter, a very fun multirole IMO.
What should I do if I ran out of slot.
Either sell or buy a slot with tokens you earn from accomplishing daily operations
I attempted to play this game and it's just people playing tiers 2 up in specialized planes with over 4000 games under their belts seal clubbing. Often they are in "flights" which only makes it worse.
Craig Allan I blame the daily mission requirement. It forces you to play low tier to get the tokens. I for one wish wargaming removed the tier requirements. To be fair tho the requirement for specialization at that tier is very low, and the impact at tier II is negligible considering how little you gain overall. You are lucky to unlock a single equipment slot.
I started playing last year and was frustrated for the first 4-5 tiers and noticed the same thing. Everything started to click for me at that point. Just because a plane is specialized it doesn't necessarily mean the player is any good lol. Keep at it for a while and maybe try the more forgiving lines like the spitfires or Yaks.
Gotta get clubbed to learn.

My account was hacked. The company could care less. Never did anything or helped in anyway. Uninstalled this game after spending over a thousand hours playing and have not looked back.

Marco Nadal I beg to differ. There may be some strong planes out there on the premium shop but if not in skilled hands it’s just another line in my kill feed. It’s not like WoT where you can hull down and become invincible in an OP premium. Every plane that ends up in front of your guns will take damage, and if you flight up with someone they have to be twice as good.
