Within a minute you explained this wonderful topic very easily and smoothly. I have been searching on TH-cam for half an hour but didn't get the concept untill I see your video. Now, I'm ready to explain this concept to others
Woah, awesome animations! Thanks so much for putting this video together, it was extremely informative and does a really great job at presenting this astonishing biological process.
I have a question please answer. When two hyphae combine means only 2 nuclei come together then how so much of basidium have that 2 nuclei that wil fuse and form badidiospore at the end? Much confused plzz answer it
At :46 they don’t form a new genome until they cross over in the basidium, before then they have a complete set of both parents genomes (dikaryotic - di two - karyotic nucleus)

Amazing video, thank you
First i have to ask that do each of basidium in fruiting body have those 2 nuclei or only one basidium at a time get those nuclei?
There are millions of basidia in the gills of the mushroom and each basidia receives 2 nuclei which produce 4 basidiospores.
Quality.Good job
