This is so random BUT I read a Dr. Seuss book to my son every night before bed. Well, when you started listing all of the different places that you can do your morning basket, it started to sound like a Seuss book in my head and made me chuckle.
Love these morning basket ideas! Do you read much on your own time for yourself or just enjoy the awesome books you read to the kids? I know your time is limited.

How long does it take to get through your basket time everyday? Also, after listening to all of that reading do your kids have enough "sit still" in them to focus on their other subjects?

Oh I’m so sad! I just went to order April’s box and it’s sold out! Pretty sure it was going to be The Secret Garden which we are actually already reading so maybe I’ll just have to figure out my own crafts to do with it! I’ll be on the lookout for May’s box hint!

Quick question, in the first few minutes of explaining the Land of Storybooks you mentioned there are enough crafts for two kids and few moments later you said crafts for four kids...just curious before I order which it is. Thanks so much!! ❤️
There are 2 crafts. Each with enough for 2 children:)

Depends but generally 8:30 am to 2-3 pm

Looks great, but how do you do all this when you have chronic fatigue and aren’t a morning person?
You don’t. This looks and sounds wonderful but there is just no way I can make this happen in my homeschool. Everyone is different and maybe one day I will have my crap together more, but not right now lol.
Every morning basket (sometimes called circle time) looks different. Right now, our morning time is just made up of the subjects my two children share before they split to do math. The "Your Morning Basket" Podcast is a good source of inspiration for those more creative than me :-) Some moms do circle time after lunch or as "tea time".
What are the notebooks on the table for? Do they take notes/doodle about the things you are reading?

@@GraceandGrit thanks for the honesty! I saw in your new DITL that Kylie loves the National Geographic books, there is actually a subscription box for them called zoobox. I get them for my 10 yr old and he LOVES it so much!
