I also am sensitive to noises, to the point where I wear headphones or earplugs 24/7 (I work from home too..). I tried to get over it, I tried to learn how to deal with it but I get so angry every time I hear noises. I stop what I'm doing just to focus on the noise and anticipate the next noise(which is counterproductive, I don't know why I do it). Luckily I'll be moving out soon to a corner house with very good insulation. I hope I can live in peace then...
hi eyol:) i wanted to say that i am also very sensitive to sounds. they bother me so much and stress me out. i even wake up out of sleep if i hear someone walking around the house. i have noticed i’m also very quiet myself. someone told me i tip toe through my house, lol. you aren’t alone.
