This brings memories when I started shotokan Karate in the 1980 in Cheltenham Karate club and I have been trained and graded by some of the top senssei's including Enoeda , that was the greatest time . This film brings me the memories in the past.
I’ve been looking for the clip for ages where Terry O Neil kicks George Godfrey with a spinning kick. I was fortunate to be there. Terry got disqualified though. So pleased it’s on here 😎😎😎😎😎
Not so sure Dave Hazard, Simon Staples and Jess Lavender were members of KUGB when that footage was recorded, I may be wrong and prepeared to be corrected, can anyone put a date to the footage.

Great memories of some very special people I was honoured to spend time with.

In the early days it was always Smith and Sherry, what happened to Alan Smith ?
Karate is best
There are other organisations just as good. No 'simply the best' in karate. The challenge is with one's self.
It’s not the dog in the fight is the fight in the dog
Pity how it's ended with Andy sherry being a nonce.
All that work and for nothing shame
