Hi Jurn! Festa 2022 was very emotional, I cried with them... But never thought that it was the end, never, just a well deserved pause after 9 years of non-stop hard work. Then, we all thought - as Bora said - that it was our opportunity to catch up with old contents....lol, we are spoiled, they fed us even more!!!!!
I think a good initial theme for the come back can stem from The Best Is Yet To Come - besides We’re Back, something along the lines of Jin’s Happy theme, like come back to me, let’s be together again to love again and celebrate and grow together. During the break some fans have said that BTS helped them heal and they no longer feel they need BTS the way they once did. I would love for the whole fandom to come back together to relive the good times and be the Army I’ve heard so much about.
I remember seeing the many reactions saying they're breaking up and being confused because even w/ the original translation of hiatus I felt everything was there. They said were taking a break as full force BTS, we wanna do some stuff as soloists, we're tired, Joon needed to refocus because to my understanding he felt like his point of view may b overtaking BTS. I was of the western mindset where I love some bands that go away for years and aren't broken up, they live life, marry, have kids, divorce, basically enjoy their spoils then come back w/ new music and tour. Now the range of time gone may vary but I think as ARMY were so spoiled w/ drops that I think they felt the need to explain that the pace was changing. And they did kno they were going to do their MS. U should look into Bora's video, I think it's the 1D hiatus drama that she kinda lays out the timeline of what should have been the original plan. We as ARMY we sort of knew. Joon was right, ARMY after the initial shock understood that things needed to change cause of MS. I was hoping that they would get exempt but knew that it was looming so something was happening. They share as much as they can which I appreciate. It's always when we let the outside non ARMY to get in our heads that chaos ensues. And yes, there is a LOT of content but I think ur on the right track, the music should b first. I love our Tannies, their randomness and happiness is a balm to my soul but as someone who has been here since 2020 and have seen a lot of what's on that list but still run into new stuff all the time, it all comes back to the music. I would not b so invested in them taking a staycation if I didn't already love the music. Also, they didn't not let us catch up, in hindsight that is the biggest laugh of all. Us thinking they're slowing down so we could catch up on older content🤣🫠🤪
I think, in comparison to other KPOP groups that don't have the artistic freedom that BTS have had since the beginning, that RM is talking about needing time to "Be a human" so he can mature and continue to make the music he wants to do, because while they have had artistic freedom, they haven't been able to experience life as a normal human. I think that is how they avoided the seven year curse in KPOP (groups disbandment at seven year mark). I have seen so much growth in every member since they started their solo projects, etc. I do believe they were experiencing severe burn out, and if they hadn't taken their break, they may not have renewed their contract as a group. I'm amazed at their growth and talent. I remember the 2018 MAMA Speech, where JIN talked about how they considered disbandment at the beginning of that year because of burnout and being overwhelmed by the fast rise of their popularity, when they entered the US market in 2017, and won their first Billboard award. We are so lucky to have them as a group still. I hope they continue on for many more years.
26:02 That's it! 'If I ruled the world, I'd do it all!' They've also said that they're simply running against time, now... D-204! Ready, set, BEGIN (again)! 🎉 💜
They did put out a lot of content and most of it is so much fun to watch. I still haven’t watched it all either. I have been an Army since 2014, and I swear, when I thought I had watched every content that they put out, there will always be new videos or clips that pop out that I have never know existed before. My point is, it's impossible to actually be sure you keep up with everything of BTS contents. We are very spoiled and should be grateful for that. The members of Metallica are not all original. The original bassist David Mustaine left to start his own band "Megadeth"(he was a dick we dont claim him as original member). For true Metallica fans claim Cliff as the original bassist unfortunately he died in a tour bus crash. He was replaced by Jason in 86 and Jason stayed with Metallica until 2001. It was a mutual separation. Robert joined in 2003 and has been with them since. Ron played a few shows in 82 while Jason was in either rehab or recovering from an injury(can't remember at the moment).

Also Jurn I’d like to point out that it’s impossible to speak while the video is not paused. The sound of the video overpowers your voice.
So, in the list of things to watch ...solo work, u r definitely caught up on. Chapter 1 still s WIP 😊 but dont worry. The documentaries are still to be done, but in a timing, dont worry, we will wait, Jurn 😊. Also, i haven't even seen everything. There is content that is new to me and nkw watching so again its not a race 😊. This feasta was my first, and to be honest, i didn't understand why Army was in my view at the time being "dramatic." But now i get it. I equate it to your good bestie moving away to another country for work. Because u did everything together, it would be a blow, and u would feel sad, but at the same time, u know it's for the best. Older Armies would have been feeling all sorts of things but at the end of the day..its for their betterment. Newbies and definitely Westerners would not have gotten that and hence the start of the misinterpretations. I know now we just trust them and what they say. And ignore the negativity I am also learning (slowly tho) Korean just to understand their lives better😂 but its alongside Spanish and dam owl wouldn't ease up.
No, it was misinterpreted from the start (they said something like 'period of rest', but it got written as hiatus). Army was like 'hang on, something's up, let's figure out what they are trying to tell us, Joon is crying, so are the others, seems important!', but the media came out with 'Hiatus! They're breaking up! It's over! Just like 1D!'. JK immediately went live to reassure us that they are of course not disbanding. They have many more plans! Then RM wrote a letter about how he expected this, but that he's nevertheless disappointed by the media misconstrueing his words and making a spectacle out of them. Jin's enlistment on December 13th was only announced one day after their Busan concert on October 16th. 💜
i don't understand why they have to hate them .this dinner is the haters use to clap for their enjoying that bts gonna disband . they always wait for this moment to celebrate their success .that night made hybe stock go plummet & the haters & kmedia very happy but jk & namjoon break their happiness just after that .same case for suga recently ,yesterday come some celebrate when NJ terminate their contract .bts will not effect from all media & haters play
It was like everybody stopped hearing anything after rest/hiatus/ break from GROUP activities. Including ARMYs. They had been saying things about hiatus and the military for at least 2 years before they did it. The military issue was all over the place, especially about firstly extending the oldest you can be entering the military before repercussions second, whether or not they would be exempt. I find it disgusting that bureaucrats were pulling them in one direction and ARMYs were pulling them in the other without understanding how enlistment works in SK. It's going to be sad when ARMYs begin to watch them experience life as grown men their age are supposed to. It reeks of immature or delulu fans thinking that they get to decide how these GROWN MEN should move forward when they return. I hope we as ARMYs do better. Much better.
I am in a worse state right now because I am being bombarded with feed that Jungkook was in the hospital because of bullying in the army. Now I know his brother was in hospital at one point, and I am thinking it could have been a journalistic, confusion or confabulation. I wish Hybe would make an official statement.
definitely people ask for albums of western artists all the time, and those ~5 years between the releases are full of people actively waiting HOWEVER a western artist doesn't need to put out any notice to take 5 years to create an album. no one will be talking that they gave up their career and profession just because the gap between albums is more than a year that's the difference. bts had to put it out into the world like that because of kpop systems, and then got jumped at by western media because they alluded to a hiatus out loud if bts never said anything NONE of wester media would know they are on a break because their names be on the top of everything still. but then kpop system would have burned them alive and bts also didn't want to just throw us into new norms without notice, that's why they talked about it specifically on an anniversary dinner, because it's a very niche content dedicated to armys and only armys bts were in position where they were anable to win this conversation :(
No, I think they have the last laugh and are appreciated for their dedication and sincerity. They couldn't just go and not talk to us. They had to do something. When the media came out with their BS articles, we could always go back to BTS' own words. This is where they ask us to please just TRUST them! TRUST BTS! The crying was a problem... 💜
It is happening but I’m not that fussed honestly. I don’t mind man finding faith but once you retire from secular rap I don’t really rate you as a rapper anymore. They all seem to lose that bag of just making good music. But I’m happy to be wrong when they drop.

And ignore the negativity
I am also learning (slowly tho) Korean just to understand their lives better😂 but its alongside Spanish and dam owl wouldn't ease up.
I'm learning Korean! But I started 7 days ago...
You got this.
화이팅! 💜
What program are you using? I want to learn Korean but I don’t know where to start.
@bereasonable8018 I'm using busuu because I don't like duolingo
@ thank you. I also tried Duolingo and I didn’t like it. I will look into busuu . Thanks!
i don't understand why they have to hate them .this dinner is the haters use to clap for their enjoying that bts gonna disband . they always wait for this moment to celebrate their success .that night made hybe stock go plummet & the haters & kmedia very happy but jk & namjoon break their happiness just after that .same case for suga recently ,yesterday come some celebrate when NJ terminate their contract .bts will not effect from all media & haters play
29:56 ive been on this for more than 7 years and I'm not even done with half of this content 😭
I started taking Korean classes but it’s so hard😂
I am in a worse state right now because I am being bombarded with feed that Jungkook was in the hospital because of bullying in the army. Now I know his brother was in hospital at one point, and I am thinking it could have been a journalistic, confusion or confabulation. I wish Hybe would make an official statement.
definitely people ask for albums of western artists all the time, and those ~5 years between the releases are full of people actively waiting
HOWEVER
a western artist doesn't need to put out any notice to take 5 years to create an album. no one will be talking that they gave up their career and profession just because the gap between albums is more than a year
that's the difference. bts had to put it out into the world like that because of kpop systems, and then got jumped at by western media because they alluded to a hiatus out loud
if bts never said anything NONE of wester media would know they are on a break because their names be on the top of everything still. but then kpop system would have burned them alive
and bts also didn't want to just throw us into new norms without notice, that's why they talked about it specifically on an anniversary dinner, because it's a very niche content dedicated to armys and only armys
bts were in position where they were anable to win this conversation :(
No, I think they have the last laugh and are appreciated for their dedication and sincerity. They couldn't just go and not talk to us. They had to do something. When the media came out with their BS articles, we could always go back to BTS' own words. This is where they ask us to please just TRUST them! TRUST BTS! The crying was a problem... 💜
@Sherluck93 they chose what's more important to them and that is direct and sincere communication with army 💜
@@erume5776 'As expected, BTS!' 🫂 💜
no not all original members in those groups...drummer for Metallica is not dead
You’re a Pusha T fan too.🫡 there was a rumor that Malice was coming out of retirement and Clips reunion.
It is happening but I’m not that fussed honestly. I don’t mind man finding faith but once you retire from secular rap I don’t really rate you as a rapper anymore. They all seem to lose that bag of just making good music. But I’m happy to be wrong when they drop.
