Have you ever tried a benchmade crossbar lock? I've bought the dachshund and I'm not sure if mine came broken or sth else but the lock is just too stiff for me. especially when I try to operate it with one finger the slider kinda tilts and wedges in there a little and its not very pleasant to operate. I've tried a benchmade yesterday and was super disappointed with mine after that because the benchmade was so easy to unlock
I have the CDC Racoon. The "detent" is fair but the knife is light and laser sharp. The Dachshund looks interesting especially that blade. Vosteed is poised to be the superstar maker of 2024.
