What a stunning place. I can SEE that the people who visit this place would be happy and content. I also HOPE that the workers/staff are well paid for the excellence they provide for their guests. I also hope that the families of the workers/staff are as happy and blessed. That is my hope because anyone who works in this type of business should be well compensated for this type of job. I think I would very much enjoy that. It seems a little more intimate and private and not quite as touristy as some of the other resorts. As usual the water views are spectacular. Lovely.

We stayed there earlier this year and enjoyed our stay! We saw your video when we were planning the trip and it helped us pick the island. I’m curious, it seems you stayed at many Maldives resort, do you happen to have recommendations that offer equal or better snorkeling experience compared to Kandolhu? We struggle on deciding if we should stay at Kandolhu again or try other islands!
I would recommend Milaidhoo if you prefer the good house reef for snorkelling. Kandolhu don't have the category for "Beach Pool villas", The Duplex Pool Villas (two-storey villas) are located on the west side of the island and Pool Villas (Room 101~105) facing the east. The Duplex Pool Villas on the west have more beaches than the Pool Villas. We went there during the March 2018, February and March should be the best months to visit the Maldives. The dry season (From mid-Jan to mid-April), you can expect low rainfall, and enjoy lots of sunshine in the Maldives🌴Enjoy your stay and have a nice vacation in February 2022 😊

We have stayed at ten resorts in the Maldives, including One&Only, Joali, The Nautilus, Vakkaru, Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Soneva Jani, Kandolhu and both Four Seasons Resorts. All of them are nice resorts! The Nautilus, Velaa, Cheval Blanc and Joali are the luxury place with the most beautifully designed villas, Both Nautilus and Velaa have the best service for us in the Maldives, Kandolhu is the best place for snorkelling, One&Only have the best beautiful beaches. Overall, Velaa Private Island is our best experience in the Maldives. If Velaa is a bit too much for the budget, I would also recommend the beach pool villa at One&Only, especially if you like walking on the beach or swimming in the lagoon. Soneva Jani and The Nautilus are also our good experience in the Maldives. Soneva Jani is an eco-friendly resort with natural environment and stunning lagoon. Nautilus is the most private and luxury place, the best beautifully designed villas and have good house reef for snorkeling. Both of them are amazing and worth a visit 😊😊😊

We have stayed at six resorts in the Maldives, including Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Soneva Jani, Kandolhu and both Four Seasons Resorts. All of them are nice resorts!!! Both Cheval Blanc and Velaa are the most beautiful and luxury place, the best beautifully designed villas, Soneva Jani is an eco-friendly resort with natural environment, Velaa have the best personalized butler service for us in the Maldives. I would recommend the pool villas on sunrise side (We stayed at the pool villa #103). The Duplex Pool Villas ( 12:30 ) at the sunset views seems with less vegetation on the garden. The beach villas ( no pool ) is also a good choice for the savings on room rate 😊😊😊

We would like to stay in a beach villa with a private pool (because no public swimming pools at the resort), but we don’t like the two-floor design of the duplex pool villas, Not because of on the sunrise or sunset, the sunrise or sunset views are nice for us 😊😊😊
CL Kung ya the pool villas look nicer, but my only doubt is that this side has small beach, so I hope this side beach is still beautiful and enjoyable?!

We have stayed at ten resorts in the Maldives, including One&Only, Joali, The Nautilus, Vakkaru, Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Soneva Jani, Kandolhu and both Four Seasons Resorts. All of them are nice resorts! The Nautilus, Velaa, Cheval Blanc and Joali are the luxury place with the most beautifully designed villas, Both Nautilus and Velaa have the best service for us in the Maldives, Kandolhu is the best place for snorkelling, One&Only have the best beautiful beaches. Overall, Velaa Private Island is our best experience in the Maldives.
If Velaa is a bit too much for the budget, I would also recommend the beach pool villa at One&Only, especially if you like walking on the beach or swimming in the lagoon. Soneva Jani and The Nautilus are also our good experience in the Maldives. Soneva Jani is an eco-friendly resort with natural environment and stunning lagoon. Nautilus is the most private and luxury place, the best beautifully designed villas and have good house reef for snorkeling. Both of them are amazing and worth a visit 😊😊😊

We have stayed at six resorts in the Maldives, including Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Soneva Jani, Kandolhu and both Four Seasons Resorts. All of them are nice resorts!!! Both Cheval Blanc and Velaa are the most beautiful and luxury place, the best beautifully designed villas, Soneva Jani is an eco-friendly resort with natural environment, Velaa have the best personalized butler service for us in the Maldives. Kandolhu and Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru are also amazing resorts that we always want to come back:)
By the way, I am on the vacation in the Vakkaru and Nautilus Maldives now 😃😃😃

On sunrise side: anyone with less vegetation on the garden?
I would recommend the pool villas on sunrise side (We stayed at the pool villa #103). The Duplex Pool Villas ( 12:30 ) at the sunset views seems with less vegetation on the garden. The beach villas ( no pool ) is also a good choice for the savings on room rate 😊😊😊

We would like to stay in a beach villa with a private pool (because no public swimming pools at the resort), but we don’t like the two-floor design of the duplex pool villas, Not because of on the sunrise or sunset, the sunrise or sunset views are nice for us 😊😊😊
