Finally had my chance to see them live in Sept, in LA...... it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! A truly phenomenal show.... no one else even comes close. If you ever get a chance to see them live, DO IT...... it is an experience to behold.

Du Hast is one of the best perfomances live but their song Rammstein is one of the biggest fire songs next to Sonne! ^^

While the lightning here is an editing effect, during some of the tours he would have a tesla coil behind him sparking to rings on his fingers so there would be actual lightning live

Hey Mike, welcome to Rammstein, the absolute craziest live band on earth. Pure art. Even the music videos are from another universe ("Zeit" "Adieu" "Deutschland"). I hope you feel like watching more European Metal bands. The problem with the US music industry is this - they only support US bands and a few others from the UK. So many bands are largely unknown in the US and very successful on the rest of the planet. If you feel like it, I'll guide you through a bit. First recommendation: Nightwish "Ghost Love Score" live from Wacken 2013. It will surprise you and blow your mind completely. Promised. 😀

We found alot of conflicting information on that subject. Some say it like that and then some add it can mean both. Thank you for the info.
They just toured Europe and the US the last year. Will tour Europe next year. Hint, their show now makes this look like small boys playing with matches.

When you said, "This is the only song this band needs" (around 7:20) that is so true. I saw them in September 2022 and they could still be doing the Du Hast beginning with the Til Hammer and nobody would mind. When you go to any show, the band has a showstopper which may not be their best song in the studio, but is the best live. Rammstein has like 8 of those. The whole show was amazing. Far beyond every other concert I have seen. Highly, highly recommend going to see them live.

There's some really sad concert footage of him finishing the concert dragging his leg. His iconic hammer move is based off pain from a kneeinjury anyway and he reinjured it during that incident.

If anything should "kill" you then the fact that this is Paris, France - a German band crowd controls over 20.00 (mainly) French people to sing perfect German! considering their history, it is the most amazing thing on this concert. French do usually not speak other languages especially German - and no lighting is CGI - pyro is real!

One thing though, something is wrong with the audio of the song. Is that on purpose to evade the strikes or claims or was that a genuine problem?
It was a limiter audio filter that was in OBS when we recorded the reaction. We have now figured that out and taken it off for future reactions. Thank you for the heads up.

Please learn the correct pronunciation of the band's name -- it is Rammstine (rhymes with Einstein). If you question this, just listen to or watch their song "Rammlied" where the band's name is repeated numerous times by the band itself.

I fell in love with them back in 1997 with "Engel" at the age of 16 and still love them to bits and pieces.
They are officially founded in 1994 and have the same line up since. All 6 grew up in the former GDR (east Germany/behind the wall)
Till Lindemann was in the Olympic swimmer team in his youth, was behind drums at the band "First Arsch" (short for "Erste Autonome Randalierer Schwerins", is the lyricist, a licensed pyrotechnican and writes poems and has his side project "Lindemann".
The lead guitarists name is Richard Z. Kruspe, he was once fleeing from east to west, was in a band called "Die Firma" and has his side project Emigrate.
Rhythm guitarist Paul Landers was already with the keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz and the drummer Christoph "Doom" Schneider in the GDR band "Feeling B".
With 51 years the youngest and 2 m the tallest is the bassist Oliver Riedel, who was before in the band "The Inchtabokatables". To be honest, I am not so sure about "Die Firma", but as I am aware, the most are punk-bands.
