Between them and Greta and Dirty Honey, ya. Just saw and met them in Wilmington, absolutely wonderful experience. Been a fan for a few years now, wish I had known about them all along!!

Early Rival Sons songs are complete knock offs of 70s song riffs. Greta Van Fleet does the same thing. That is not being a savior of rock. It’s just Silly Putty pulling the comics off the newspaper.

Elemental ...truly a great Rock band - Buchanan at times is Rodgers/Daltrey/Plant / Jim Morrison ..but always himself ...great composition and the dynamic of this band is something to behold ...last night at Oxford was stellar ...

My dad was always rehearsing with his band as a child I grew up watching him perform a bit David Lee Roth and Rickey Medlock from Blackfoot but most significantly Steve Perry formerly lead singer obviously Journey. They could’ve went too the top only if we weren’t so small town! So many people which is not many considering this small river side town upstate SC, too this day consider my daddy as the show star the year 1982 the year in which I was born. I heard Too Bad, by you guys. And it took me back too the way they sounded back when. And I rock too you guys on every ride I drive and every journey this life I’m coming to realize it’s much easier when I listen too my heart and jam out too y’all’s lol. Songs!! Wow I can’t believe I didn’t come across you guys until this past three years. But music is and always will be a type of therapy only I can feel alone! My dad is David Lee Roths’/ voice of Steve Perry back when as I said before small town people have more talent that gets wasted away amongst the cultural values now. They’ve already made some great albums, but their new stuff blows them all clean away. A band at the absolute top of its game.
The Zep inspired rhythm section in the verse is groovy AF. ...and those pre-choruses are just beautiful.
In some ways this group is better than Zep. Every other lyric isn't baby. This group does not sound like Zep.

Rival Sons are a band where the core influences are obvious, but they still manage to transcend and sound original. It's simultaneously nostalgic and fresh. That combination is VERY hard to pull off effectively.
