Love Rival Sons!!! Seen them 3 times. First was opening for Sabbath in Dallas. But. He can’t hold a candle to Mr Ozzy!!! Again Rival Sons are Great!!!!!
I agree. They've got other great songs, but this one will appeal to many. Slower, a bit bluesy.....but still heavy and pure. Vocals, guitar, bass, drums.....clean - no BS - this is what rock should sound like in 2019. I was able to catch them 2 years ago opening for Sabbath. Great live band.
@@stan1418 i cant agree more. theyve got very good songs but this is the heaviest in terms of the riffs and the impact. leaves a huge influence on the listener imo
The amount of passion, anger, emotion and intensity that Jay delivers the last "well that's too bad" is absolutely soul shaking. You cannot fake that. What an incredible band.
Why has this only got 2k views!? People get sharing!! Not nearly enough people know about this incredibly talented band - and this album is the best yet!!
Here in Italy maybe we're lucky in having a radio which almost plays just rock, metal and progressive, but I know it's just a case as that's the only one in here. All others are focused only on Italian music or pop/rap, so yeah, while driving at work, I only have a safe radio to listen to.
Brett Smith-Daniels i heard this last summer on radio station driving through oklahoma...surprised I havnt heard more about them this year. They have no bad songs. Consistently good!
Honestly, I think this is one the best rock songs in the past decade. The riff, energy, vocals, building of the song, solo, arrangement, absolutely everything is on such a high level... totally awesome.
Finally.... Rival Sons get the recognition that they deserve. 2 Grammy nominations!! Been a big fan since seeing them Cherry Cola's here Toronto about 8 years ago. Not many bands can compete with their live show., just incredible. Congratulations boys!!!
Christopher Blanchard chris, i firmly thought Highly Suspect when i heard this song, that would be a good tour although i would love to see Rival Sons again badly
Vocals and lyrics are both next level. I don't know what's going on between these two, but it is an intense drama. Also, the music matches the tension, in indescribable ways, yet kicks ass on it's own. Brilliant song. Magic performance.
New fan here....6 songs deep and i havent heard a bad song yet. This group, Dirty Honey, and Highly Suspect. There has been a resurgence of good rock lately...killer vocals...gritty deep rock instrumentals. Shame on the record industry responsible for their lack of success.
Does anybody else think Rival Sons are the sound that the Black Keys fall short of? I Love the Keys but these guys are way more talented! Definitely a new favorite
I love Rival Sons but I always respected the Black Keys for how they always not just played in the existing genre but kinda reinvented in and did whatever they wanted. Rival Sons are amazing but their sound is retrospective while Black Keys alway sounded fresh to me.
I agree. Because Rival Sons have mastered their instruments. Black Keys are pretty limited in their playing ability. Black Keys have some talent at the soundboard though that gives them a bit of a different flavour. Black Keys might sound more "original" to some because they focus more on production and structure their songs to work within their abilities. A collaboration between them would be pretty awesome.
Blueyestu most definitely! my favorite band ever! and it's really cool that Rival Sons are big Black Crowes fans too so that just sweetens the pot for me 😍😍😍

This is how legends are born, in the 70s they would be overnight success. Keep it up Rival Sons, it will happen, because your just that damm good.
And last week they were in Nîmes, doing the first part of Slash ft Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. So, yeah, you were right.
