THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST EPISODE OF SEASON 2. The Murtaugh being a good guy and sacrificing himself for Ivan was so emotional! I love how they made the acid spill in his death scene, instead of blood. Sort of censorship
I like how even though Peterson is now confirmed as not being a killer, that doesn’t make him any less dangerous. He still was intimidating, and I like how the multiple Crowfaces were revealed, with Crowface seemingly teleporting everywhere. I also like how not every suspect was a Crowface, but that just made way for showing that the Crowfaces are, in fact, a cult that isn’t afraid to commit murder. And I have to admit, I love how birds were used as foreshadowing to Peterson just being dangerous but not murderous, an unkindness if you will, while Crowface is a cult, and a flock of crows is called "a murder". Clever storytelling.
Sorry for my English, in the books on this series, a certain sect is mentioned, the participants of which are several well-known people of the city of Raven Brooks. In one of the books it was written that Mr. Peterson's children went for a walk in the forest and saw these sectarians in their images there, when they came home they told their father, who punished them and forbade them to go to this forest. And yes, the Peterson family has a family friend who was looking for some kind of device, for which he was killed by these sectarians, someone saw it and told, as a result, the Mayor lost his position, a cop something there too, and so on. Oh, yes, these sectarians are called "Guardians of the Forest."
Someone, one of the Ravens is real, and the rest will worship him and sacrifice children (probably). I think the one with the dirty hood and who teleports is the Guest.
6:18 he’s really creepy but actually a good guy, he noticed that Ivan was scared of them and he read the room, put himself infront of Ivan to protect him, he’s risking his own life and his experiments to protect one of his students, I like the way mr murtaugh was presented in this episode, as a creepy yet good guy
Y'know, Mr. Murtaugh being so obviously creepy really early on could only mean he was gonna be a good guy. Good to see that they didn't avert that averted trope, which would effectively play it straight, I was rooting for the guy to be innocent.
Writers usually do that in stories. They develop the most suspicious-looking character to make people think they're the villain until they're revealed to be innocent, like Severus Snape from Harry Potter.
@dougymoney379 yeah, pretty much. Really common trope that I don't mind seeing being played straight. Sometimes some folks do avert it by making the obviously creepy guy actually evil as well, which could either be a really meta "gotcha" moment, or just really lacking in substance.
I got it! Going way back to when hello neighbor first ever came out alpha 1 beta. You could see a photo of Mr Peterson with another guy. That guy in the photo looked just like the guy who got killed in the beginning of season 2 while Mr Peterson and the other guy in the photo were kids. Mr Peterson states in this episode “I started this I’ll finish it” and based off seeing the crow faces were a cult that means it could be the group of kids who killed Mr Petersons brother. 😮
This episode was wild as hell, Mr. Peterson really blew out his anger and Mr. Murtaugh died, other than that I can't wait to see how Season 2 will finish up, I hope we get an epic fight where the squad beats the shit out of the crowfaces. F for Mr. Murtaugh though. :(
Of course, I don't think he's the only one. The taxidermist also behaves strangely, especially in one of the first teasers or whatever they are, we were offered to look at the characters of HN2, and asked which of them is suspicious? That's just the same Taxidermist, he had a syringe with green liquid in his pocket, especially in the game / cartoon, his house is hung with trophies, but he'll take it and protect the children, we don't know how the second season will end and whether there will be a third?

It happened in season 1's "full season" video, which the woman who died to the truck (Maritza and Enzo's mother) had black liquid (oil) around her body, but in the full season version, it was blood.

Theo went through a lot of suffering. Could he help out Trinity out? Nicky was in shock after being held in Theo's basement, the crow face, and shadow man. Nobody else is commenting about this so I will. One of the crowfaces sleeves slid revealing an arm. The arm had a scar that was the exact same as the principals scar when she got hit by Ivan’s invention. There were flashbacks to this I’m just surprised nobody else has mentioned it. So one of the crowfaces has pretty much been confirmed to be the principal, but there’s still many more. Hopefully Ivan tells the others in the next episode about the scar. It’s getting very good keep it up!
Episode 5 might be better then all of the epsiode that we got in season 2 this well be crazy when it well release good job tinybuild you really made me a good show to watch it makes me happy
Not gonna lie Trinity can be a bad friend to Nicky Roth. Not to mention she put Nicky in danger and took him to the most disturbing Theo's rusty house where the crime was at. To be honest I love her design than the secret neighbour where you play any kids character. Arron made it out alive by escaping through out the basement to get away from his father. The fact that I used to think Mr Murtaugh was creepy, and now I see that he was checking on his students. He defended Ivan. He gave his life just to keep one student safe. I think if it isn’t Ivan, it’s Nicky. But if it isn’t Nicky, it’s Ivan. One of those two sold out the Inventor’s Club. And based on the fact that Nicky was acting sus, I think it actually isn’t him. Mr. Peterson called Nicky his son. What if he actually IS his son, and his current “parents” are actually crowface cultists who kidnapped him?
