Lamortmon VS Thetismon!! | Digimon Card Game: BT-10 Xros Encounter X Ghost Game

- This is a match video between two character decks for Ruli and Kiyoshiro from Digimon Ghost Game. With the release of BT-10 Xros Encounter, both decks now have an equal amount of support (though less than Gammamon), including their Lv.5 Ultimate stages Lamortmon and Thetismon. However, not enough to make full decks. The Green Angoramon deck has been mixed with Terriermon line support which has good synergy due to the overlap in suspend mechanics. On the other hand, the Blue Jellymon deck is bolstered with cards with inherent Jamming or unsuspend to make its consecutive attack strategy more consistent.

I initially planned to emulate Thetismon's debut against Toropiamon in the anime, but the EX-03 Toropiamon turned out to be worse than I hoped. Also, it would have to star in a Hydramon deck, which would cause a few issues: (1) the Toropias would be severely overshadowed by other better Plant Lv.5s; (2) I kind of want to save Hydramon's debut on my channel for the EX-03 tournament; and (3) with the Jellymon deck's current power level, it might not make for a very interesting match to watch. Ultimately, I decided to matchup the 2 remaining Ghost Game decks like this instead. Just like their characters in the anime, these decks are still raw, undeveloped and in the midst of growing. I mean seriously, they only have 2 Lv.3s and 1 Lv.4 compared to Gammamon. So this might not make for the most interesting or exciting match, but hope you guys enjoy this glimpse at their potential all the same. Looking forward to seeing all 3 decks unleash their true power when Ghost Game reaches its climax.
I'd like to imagine ruli looking at the arbomon in hand and imagining "this isn't how I want to win" and so she just plays angoramon and passing and everyone, even angoramon, being surprised
Another ghost game battle nice, still waiting for Lamortmon first appearance in the anime though.

When you went into Tethismon, it made me realize we've only seen her once since her debut. Not that they need to go ultimate every episode, but CanoWeismon has appeared what, 5 times already? We need more Tethismon

id mix with bt7 hybird green and it seems amazing, especially its 1 cost suspend opponent option, when i do that, my lamortmon evoluiton line able to add memory, it means i gain memory when i suspend opponent.
Great video! Loved that you continued on after the Arbor since it'd be pretty sad to just have the game end without seeing Thetis. I've got a question though. At the end of the match Thetis was unsuspended and hit the final security. I've been thinking of running a "fun" Jellymon deck with some hybrid stuff in there. Great to see this type of content, man!

@@rustmarrow Oh sorry thought I had erased that part out. I was a bit confused about the final check since you restood the Thetismon before doing the final security check, so it looked like Thetis swung thrice, but then I looked again and cleared it up. Thanks for the answer, though!
I copied this deck to TTS, will most likely build it once BT10 comes to Europe, namely Finland.

It's kind of a Shame that a lot of digimon gg are promos, maybe they are far from being meta, but I do like to build this kind of thematic decks and promos get very expensive, also is weird that the oficial traduction for bibi thunder came as startling thunder

To be honest, I had already redid the match a couple times. Was a really unlucky day for me and was running behind schedule
A format that ban Lv 6 and 7 Digimon can change a lot the game.
Hate to say it, but this was a pretty disappointing match. It would have been fine if you had just left it as a win for Ruil, but that's my thoughts.
I am also waiting for the digivolution of Angoramon... Why did you had to bring out this video before it appeared in the series??? I waited for so long and now you just spoilered the whole Evolution an maybe even the plot why ruli is so important for angoramon...

Hey man, I do apologise if my video spoilered you about this. I expected anyone following the DCG (or Digimon in general) to already be spoilered cos this card/mon was revealed long ago - I already posted it on my channel with the translation months back. I know this is no excuse if you've been avoiding the information, but I think it's fair to say that this evo is pretty much on the level of common knowledge within the community already, so I apologise but hope you understand. This will most likely not be the last time such a thing happens, if the DCG continues to spoil certain Digimon early (there is already another Ghost Game related one they've revealed in advanced)

I just watch(ed) your videos, because I like to see the game and thats it... sounds like I need to move from this channel if I dont want to get spoiled... very sad... but yes thats it... keep up the good work... maybe I will be back after the series ends
