NARP! And Ants! hahaa- love it! I am from Berkeley so yes that's a thing... Hey so, asking for my 2024 son - he wants to know if it's "typical" for Power 5 swimmers to get to room with other swimmers? I can't imagine rooming with a "NARP" and trying to get sleep! It is a concern- would love to know your feedback! Is this something you recommend asking about in interviews or is it kinda "implied"?

It honestly depends, some colleges mix and match student athletes with non athletes in the dorms but I’d say most Power 5 schools prefer to keep the athletes together. Great question!
