the story arc involving DBZ Broly Restrained is more along the lines of letting the player live the events of DBZ Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan and it ends similarly to that with the main thing different is your CAC dealing the final blow to Broly instead of Goku. DBS Videl's skills are mostly new to the game entirely even referencing games from outside Dragon Ball. Burning Swan is basically a homing attack version of the Hadoken from Street Fighter. the new strike super skill looks like it was heavily inspired by Tifa Lockhart's limit breaks in the OG Final Fantasy 7 with the final blow of the skill resembling Tifa's dolphin kick summersault limit break. DBS 18's new ultimate skill is fun to use since you can use a Ki blast like a ping pong ball on the opponent while holding the button down and the last blow is a real damage dealer. Broly Restrained has interesting skills one of which is his new ultimate skill that is a much better but less damaging version of Final Explosion with a much shorter trigger animation but also no reliance on how many bars of stamina you've got. Vegeta's new skills are good but they could have done better with being creative since Final Rampage looks like a combination of other skills in the game from Final Flash to Sledgehammer (or whatever the name of the strike skill that has Vegeta strike the opponent multiple times with the last blow slamming the opponent to the ground like a ragdoll. Goku Black's new skills aren't anything notable but there's a little useful set of skills. Divine Blade is basically a combo starter better than Ki Blast Cannon. and Crimson Edge is a great combo finisher since you can hit the opponent every single time after knocking them away. all in all I agree that it could have been executed better but it's a good DLC pack. I'm wondering what they'll think of next since there's many characters I can see being added over the course of the remaining three chapter packs of the Future Saga. my personal picks for new characters to be added without being echo fighters of characters already in the game are: Fasha- from the DBZ Bardock Father of Goku movie. Zangya- from the DBZ Bojak Unbound movie. Bergamo- from Dragon Ball Super. Nam- From The OG Dragon Ball. Young Adult Chi-Chi- from the OG Dragon Ball. King Cold- from Dragon Ball Z. Shallot from- Dragon Ball Legends. Majin 21- from Dragon Ball FighterZ. Arale- from Dr. Slump due to her making filler crossover appearances in the OG Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Super. Garlick Jr.-from the DBZ Dead Zone movie. the main reason I mentioned Arale is because her inclusion would be Bandai Namco and Dimps' way of paying tribute to Akira Toriyama since she was his first character even if she's a gag character.
So do you have to play the other Dlc to understand this? or is this a standalone? Because honestly, I don’t wanna purchase DLC for an MMO if the MMO’s is eventually gonna shut down. Especially not at those prices maybe if they releasing all our bundle that’s 90% on sale I buy it
You don’t really need to play the other DLC‘s to understand this. All you need to understand is Fu is messing with the timelines. The actual story doesn’t really tie into the earlier stuff outside of just oh hey fu is messing with the timeline. again.
