Easy trials compared to many other games.
Even FC6 dlc trials were harder.
crate thing must have been changed with a patch. because there are never 3. always just 2 and one gets picked up right after you get down the rope. really annoying one
@Wasper216: Yes they patched the game and you now have only 2 on the ground and have to shoot the others off the Crab Machines [ Shell Walkers ], without them blowing up off their backs in order to loot them.
@@jane1975 Go to the right most rope as soon as the trial starts and loot the two crates, then turn left and sprint towards the other crates and loot them.
There is 3 on the ground. 2+1 and 4th one you need to take from enemy. I also had 3+0 on ground. This is prettty much impossible to complete with 3 suns now.
The first time I almost got a blazing sun on this a stalker attacked and blew up the last crate literally as I was trying to loot it.... Was so damn angry
Also I found that on any mission where u go loud it's best to use corruption arrows on creatures to disperse their attention. Doesn't work on Watch Out though so that's the quest I had the hardest time with
Just got my blazing sun on this trial, I first went to the leftmost group of shell walkers and found 3 crates on the ground that I was able to loot, then rolled over to the right group and looted 1 crate on the ground there, completing the trial. Not sure if I got lucky? Lmk if anyone else has this experience
This one gave me more trouble than I cared to admit, like most people, there was only one box for me to loot on the right, so I opted for the left.
If you sprint around the Stalker on the left, the three boxes should be there before the Shell Walkers can get to them. Then sprint to the one on the right were there will be one waiting for you. Good luck.
For people having trouble getting all 4 shells, before you start this trial, make sure you have the TearBlast arrows equipped ( there is a vendor here too if you dont have any, buy them ), then go down the left rope, run straight across ( you should see 3 shells in the distance as you go down the rope ). As soon as you see the giant crabs, shoot them both with 1 TearBlast arrow which will stun them long enough to grab 3 arrows, then run the the right to grab the last 1 on right side. It took me a handful of tries, but this method worked for me. Run like hell without dying back to trial guy ( but tropht should pop up ). This is one of those trophies that are a pain to get.. And for gods sake, as soon as you finish this trial and get the trophy, save it at campfire lol.
This is the way to do it, man! I ran down the middle rope and as one was picking it up, I shot it with the TearBlast arrow and it worked in preventing them from picking them up. It's gotta be quick!

i tried it and thery dont even get stunned at all they instantly attack and prevent u from getting anymore i dont see any way to do this trail anymore theres 2 of them only and blasting theirs off is just gonna get u massacred by everything in the area

They've patched the Sleight of Crate trial now. Fewer crates available, way harder to knock off. Best way to do it now is with the Tearblaster weapon and the Power Armour, run and gun. Abandon stealth.
I used more stealth in the other 4 grounds than here, fml
Honestly I couldn't get the tearbaster to work well. I used corruption arrows on nearby machines to disperse attention and shot the crates off from behind them
I just go all out by 700 hp and my sheild wever outfit. I just rush with my shadow sharp shot bow and precision arrows I hit at least one shell walker's part in which they hold it and then the crate falls but before that I loot one of the crates then just run to the other do the same with the other shell walker and I am done
Ran in with the tear blaster and full health potions. It's the only way.

I had the same problem, first thing I did was fast travel away and back again and immediately jump on the right rope when I got the trial, there were two right there and one at the other spot, shot one off of a shell walker back to finish it. When I kept repeating my same save point there was only one at the landing spot for the right rope.
i'm having the same problem, i tried leaving the area and coming back but there are only 2 crates no matter what i do. if i try to shoo them off, i get attacked by everything. while thats going i cant shoo them off fast enough. they just seem guarded, even with 233 tear dmg.

I hate The watcher trial so much, literally had me rage quit the game for an entire day 💀
I was able to complete the watcher one. Never doing it again because I don't think I could. But I did get all three Lodge weapons
1st one is very difficult, took 5 attempts to get it done.
2nd one use the Terbalster; rush the first crate on the right, tear blast the picked up one and loot -> Rush to the others on the left and loot the one crate -> tearblast the final one and loot. ALWAYS use the health potions for this as they hurt.
These trials are not about stealth at all
One thing that helped me on the stalker trial was to wait until night time, then look for the little points of red light for their proximity flares. Trigger the flares and the stalkers was run right to you. :)

I just started replaying the game and I was able to rush and freeze bomb shell walkers on the left rope before they picked up the box and that let me loot 3 and I ran to the right side and grabbed the last one no problem hope this helps someone
This guide is done in story mode difficulty. I was playing on hard mode. The shell walkers always picked up the containers the moment the trial started. Failed many times. Finally switched to Story mode difficulty. The containers were exactly lying around as in the guide with the shell walkers showing little love for them 😂
Strategy for Sleight of Crate: Take the two crates on the right. Then run too the left to two shell-walkers, and use Tearblast arrows to remove the crates.
Thanks for the video. i was having a little trouble finishing my collection but this helped a lot. i also found if you make a little noise and use some rocks and throw them to lure the watchers close to the tall grass it helps
The hilarious part of this is that this is the “stealth” trials. “Loot the crates quietly....as they get put on the shell walkers backs....in 60 seconds

actually for the watch out trial i went down the steps instead of sliding down the rope and yes you can do that it will start the timer if you do that then i went for the one that was closest to the stairs then made my way around

Thanks! I tried to do the shell-walker one by killing shell-walkers. Excellent way to get mobbed and die very quickly (on Hard or Very Hard)! Somehow I managed not to notice the crates lying around during the other two trials.
The crate trial is NOT EASY, theres never 3 of them already there, only 1, every single time D":< its so frustrating, its the last blazing sun i need!
Kera Mo It’s harder than any Boss in the game including the frost/fire claw at the end of The Frozen wilds. (You tie that down with the rope caster then deal with each control tower.)
I don't know if you're on a different difficulty but there's only 2 containers of 2 and by the time I'm down the rope one has a container on them in the closest one and by the time I got to the others they're both on a shellwalker, I beat it as the last second for a golden son was ticking away- it was tough
After accepting the trial for the loot crate, run immediately for the right rope and get to the two crates before the walkers pick them up and from there on out blast them with the tearblaster.

Tip for those struggling and doesn't have full OP gear for stalkers.
First tag one perched on a wall, then hack a watcher (or shellwalker) then go berserk on that stalker with rattler and shock bolts until it's stunned then critical strike, rinse and repeat until you win.
I did it in under a minute that way
Also the shell crates weren't just lying around for me, they picked them up shortly after trial start.
But just loot as many as you can before they're picked up and then tearblast the rest of them. I was struggling quite a bit with this though

But you also have that spear that shocks them every time you melee effectually incapacitating them due to stalkers are weak to shock
I found a way for crate thing. Use tearblast arrows and shoot their leg. They won't die and won't destroy the crate and they will drop it. But you have to hit exactly his legs. Did this on two of them and got other two from the ground and it worked.

For anyone who's attempting this just letting you know.
2nd Trail - 60% of the time she'll walkers will be wearing the crates and
3rd Trail - Stalkers at locations. 1 is located just to the right as you slide down the far left rope and the the other is located on the other side of the rock in front of you as you slide down the far right rope.

There is no way you miss the stalkers if you did the other 2 first. One is sitting by a tree, Or rather up a tree and can be seen from the top easily. The other one is the only one that is hard to find. But he is also far more sharper then other machines. It spots and attacks you very fast. Both of them are found quite easily if you slide down the most left rope. Next to the guy sitting. Slide down. Look instantly to your right up the tree. It isn't even camouflaged yet. Grappling up the side of the tree. If you spot the red mines blinking,look up. The second you encounter fast enough. Just slap your ass against everything and say "I'm over here" The only factor here is the difficulty you chose. But 2 minutes is very generous.
For everyone who could not find all the crates just so you know the shell walkers can pick them up so use tear last arrows to blast it of there back

Meh, 'Watch Out' is the last one I have todo. I've tried the same route as yours among different variants (before searching here). But sadly, I keep running into Stalkers in too close proximity and unable to run into cover before they go Red.
That sleight of crate is the damned hardest of the 3. The other two I did with plenty of time to spare. This one takes the cake because the crates aren't laying around like in your video. When I descend down the rope, they're putting them on and moving out. I've started this one over like four times.
There is only one crate at both spots where there are three on this video! WTF?

how come shell walkers in your game don't even care about the crates while mine do? Those monsters in my game pick up the crates as soon as the trial starts. FFS Can't even get full sun because monsters getting in my way fuck
maybe difficulty level? it was MUCH harder for me too... eventually I got lucky, but not before stalkers or watchers destroyed the crates about 10000 times
I been trying this after the updates and they made the watcher one and the lootbox one mission impossible.. there is only 2 crates and the shell walkers are programmed to pick them up before you even get close
Anyone looking to take down stalkers easy. Electric arrows to stun it, then spam the vulnerable parts with regular arrows. It’s like 10 seconds to kill one
You're a life saver. Melee hits are never strong enough to take them down in time and then you get swarmed by Watchers that hit you one after the other and never allow you to recover enough to hit anything back. 🤦♀️
The watchers trial, if you manage to land a kill from above while sliding down the rope, you already have 1/4 at the first second of the trial. The canister trial is complete bs btw. 1:05 is not nearly enough time, especially when its all about sneaking!
that slight of grate stuff you really need to have some sort of cheat to pull off ive done it serveral times and it's total of 4 crates out in the jungle and 2 of them are allways on 2 machines

This was probably the hardest trial I did, all of the trials was done is a heartbeat except this one, it was so annoying 💀

I literally fucking hate the watcher trial. I've tried multiple strategies and I still can't get enough watches in a 2 minute time frame because the damn stalkers alert them

I'm here because I'm terrified of Stalkers. Really! They give me the creeps! Whenever I have to face them I come after some video that will show me something, at least how many are there. It's so unfair to have a machine that can become invisible even to our focus!
These videos are mostly helpful, but the thing I hate is how they never even mention the invincibility armour which a lot of the strategies become impossible or much much harder without

Now is only 1 crate on each location, rest is easy to get from shell walkers with tearblast arrows.

Great videos, but the looting...they must have patched it. There are only two crates, unlike the video. When I slide down the rope and approach, or even the middle one, a crab walker immediately picks one up, forcing me to use a tearblast arrow. Stupid patches. Still, the videos were such a help. Thanks.
This video is BS. There has never been three crates at the beginning of the trial ANY TIME I've done the trial. And the watcher are programmed to run away from one another until your cover is blown and you are relentlessly hunted until the 2:00min limit is gone. Both have been rigged to not allow completion of the blazing sun challenge. Don't know when you ran this but after you did it was considered OP and they fixed it in 1.20!!!!
Larry Tuttle Well, they unfixed it. Still ridiculously hard, tear weapons hardly work and some crates turn out to be empty! RIDICULOUS!

Running around in front of em? In PC Hard setting, THEY Bounce or fire at a glance at you. No running back into bush after Yellow indicator. Maxed out tricks and buffs here.
So basically, keep trying the first until you get lucky. Pity. Time trials suck, always
Second one there aren't batches of 3 crates, there's a batch of 2 and a single one in the other location. Time trials suck. Use tearblast arrows and run like heck!
3rd one was easy enough because I'm so levelled up I can take on a couple of stalkers with spear alone. Very satisfying.
So what have we learned?
1. Be lucky
2. Be fast
3. Be extremely levelled up
4. Time trials really suck!

U just need to kill the watchers with silent strike, absolutely no need for u to be in full stealth, whatever that means. Just run up to them, slide and crit hit them, rinse and repeat
Hey man just thought I'd let you know. Just now in playing on ultra hard doing these trials and the watcher one was really annoying. But just now I messed up and killed one and the other watchers came and saw me. I was like fuck it kill me to restart this. But then I was on this rock and they were running around below me and I did the strike from above move and even though they were all aware I was there it still counted and I did it 2 more times and still got the blazing sun even though they had seen me lol
I doesn't help that Aloy has movement paralysis every time she loots something. Make her move again when there are multiple enemies trying to kill you is pain. Especially when she just stands there despite your best effort to make her run for her life.

The test with the crates is totally undoable now. On the first location I got two and on the second one. So one more needed, let's tearblast some machines. 75% of them explode and destroy crates. In the end I was left with no enemies and two crates I managed to shoot off, but ... these two crates were not lootable. So I end up with maximum 3 crates. Will this stupid test make platinum impossible? It seems so, gutted ...
I use the tear blast arrow to get the crate off of the shell walker's back but if I shoot the crate itself I won't be able the loot it I have to shoot their body

The sleight of the crate trial is why I came here. It was the most frustrating one and most difficult one. There is only one crate on each side and you have you use to tear blaster to knock of the crate off the crabs back. And it’s best to go down the middle line first. You can sometimes get 3 crates if you stun the crabs with tear blaster before they pick up the crates. Took me so damn long to get the damn blazing sun. I was very close to Quitting and just saying fuck it. This got me so mad. And all the damn watchers hitting you from every angle. And some crates can’t be looted after you knock it off their back, it was very frustrating. But finally got it. 😤🤬🥺😭🤯😃
Same for me. Only playing on Normal level and there's only one crate. The others are far away from each other. Have Shield Weaver armour and purple mods for the Tear Blast arrows and still can't knock a crate off with one arrow! Lots of tries so far and still haven't even got a Half Sun! Haha! I know I'm not the best player but I still can't believe it :(
Can you use your stealth outfit for this?
I just did it and it is quite easy if you have tear gun for it. It is called Tearblaster - you will shoot two shots to the shell and it is dropped from the creature. Then you are ignoring all other creatures and going to the different side and do the same thing. I did it after about 40 seconds. I hope this will help you to do this.

They must have changed something in sleight of crate; I've watched 4 videos and they all show sets of 3 crates. I have NEVER seen a set of 3 crates in this trial in game.
I've put a video on my channel if you're still struggling. It's mostly the same concept but with tear arrows needed.

there's a skill in the skill tree that let's you knock down bigger opponents

In my game there were only two crates
fucking developers fix something that doesn't need fixing. Second trail is the hardest now. Finally did it by setting up traps and use double purple arrow to get them off the back.
