You can mix perennials and annuals in a pot as long as they both have the same light and water requirements. In the fall plant the Perennials in the ground and you will see them again in the spring. 🍃🌺😉
Home landscaping is such good therapy...A good tip for making your own planter pots is that you want to choose a thriller for the center of your pot then a good mix of filler plants and spillers (the plants that cascade over the pot).
Topsoil won’t allow proper drainage. If you find your plants are yellowing, it’s never too late to replace with potting mix and drop the arrangements back in. Beautiful flowers! 🌺

I miss doing gardening stuff with my mom too but now I do it with my sisters. My brother passed away a few years ago in a car accident and my sister and I planted “pansies” in his lunch cooler. I look forward to spring and summer just to do green stuff.
Hi there, just a suggestion, go to Walmart and pick up a Mainstays waterproof fitted mattress protector, they come in all sizes, twin, full, queen and king. They are phenomenal, your mattress stays dry and if it gets soiled, just throw in the washer and dryer. It’s not noisy at all as you sleep. Your home is gorgeous. Much love! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
