- The "Somewhere In Time" album by Iron Maiden, was released in 1986 in 36 vinyl record versions.
The album was pressed in vinyl in 22 countries: In USA, UK, Argentina, Venezuela, New Zealand, Guatemala, Spain, India, Italy, Australia, Japan, Yugoslavia, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, South Africa, Ecuador, Greece, Portugal, France, Ireland, Zimbabwe, and Bolivia.
An original English version in Mint Condition can be found for $30.
But there are some versions from some countries that are in greater demand. In recent years these versions have been sold from a few to several hundred dollars.
This video will tell you the top ten of the most expensive vinyl versions of "Somewhere in time," the highest price each has been sold, and each version's details.
We usually say that: knowledge is power. In this case, knowledge is money.

Somewhere in time was released in 1986, was and still is, a groundbreaking album for Iron Maiden and Heavy Metal.
After the fantastic "Powerslave," Iron Maiden continued with an album with a completely different approach to compositions and sound.
Many of the old fans of the band who experienced the release in real-time have not been able to accept it.
And it makes sense for a reason. Some people had to get out of their "music comfort zone" and explore it to accept it.
And that is impossible. Because getting some people out of their comfort zone is impossible not only for the music but also for their real-life issues.
But this is a matter for another video because today we will talk about the ten most collectible editions of Somewhere in time from 9 countries.
And I say from nine countries, because one country has in the top 10, two versions. Also, keep in mind that we are not talking about versions with autographs or promos, or white labels. We're talking about regular versions.

They translated Somewhere In Time as "SOMEWHERE ON TIME", like on time for your appointment, LOL!
I think you´re missing some countries here (like South Korea and Germany (and Russia some years later))...I got 28 in my collection in 68 versions so far ;)
Zimbabwe should be up there in the top 3 in my opinion, as a copy sold for over 900€. Those really rare ones usually don´t sell openly but within the die hard collectors. The blue colombian easily goes for 1500€ now. Bolivia exists in two versions, with b/w back and with blue colured back (the rarer and more expensive one).
There´s also a second irish version much rarer than the one with cream coloured labels, let me know if you need some pics and details.
