Ken Dorsey, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury... Those guys were college QBs... They were all awful in the NFL. It's no surprise that they got fired. How do you expect former busts to relate to pro QBs with rocket arms and world class athleticism?
No word around the NFL is that the playing calling for the Buffalo Bills offensive was super predictable. Like you know what they are going to do all game long. Ken Dorsey wasn't ready for the job, he couldn't make in game adjustments to what the defensives were doing to him.

What was a disgrace was the Bill's offense for the past calendar year under Ken Dorsey. This move probably came a few weeks too late to make a difference, but it was certainly needed. Source: I'm a Bills fan and I hate losing.
I agree, Ken Dorsey offensive was to predictable. NFL defensives setup Ken to play a certain way then in game switch on him and they knew for some reason he did not have the attention to detail make the adjustments. It just brutal how opposing DC, could just pick up on that.

Not the same special teams coach "Mad Dog" that we had in the KC playoff 13 sec game. We have not had an offensive rhythm in our approach all season and Dorsey should have been gone 2 weeks ago. ESPN if you are not going to watch the games and just look at certain highlights like 12 men on the field then don't waste your time commentating. You all seem very foolish. Stephen A. loves to talk Diggs wanting to leave because because their window is over. Wow! If this is true you should be bashing Diggs for wanting to run at the first sign of adversity. I don't remember Diggs writing in his 104 million dollar contract that he gets to be traded if the team doesn't have a great start to the season. There is to much entitlement with today's America, especially with athletes and Mr. Smith is bashing Buffalo and its city when he should be telling these prima-donna's to get a backbone.

Wow…I do agree firing the offensive coordinator made no sense. The offense got the lead back…but the defense allowed the Broncos to get into field position and the special teams blew the game by having 12 guys on the field. If the coach was going to fire someone, he should have fired the special teams coach.

Josh Allen is the new Jeff George, Jay Cutler, John Elway (pre-TD), and Dan Marino. It doesn't matter if Cook pops a couple big runs, teams know they'll win if they stop drop-back-passing. Instead of changing Josh's nature, thereby limiting his strength, I'd try having him call his own plays ala Peyton Manning. If you start with shotgun/3-wide as default, which means the D will be nickel, Josh can decide when to run or audible hot or deep. The idea is if you are predictable, you are saying: I know what you're going to do as well. What this also does is remove any ambivalence Josh may have with play calling. So Josh manages the game and OC manages Josh.

Mad Dog, you're way off base with the Dorsey firing. The Bills Offense started sputtering last year when he took over. The explosive plays that the Bills had before 2022 season were exciting and captivated the country. The Bills had a little spark early in the season, especially against Miami. But, the 3 and outs came into a pattern of repeated occurences, along with turnovers. The long pass completions all but disappeared. Dorsey was the QB of the Miami Hurricanes in 2001 when they won the National Championship. That team had 17 No. 1 draft picks and was said to be the best college football team ever. The offense featured 1 WR and 2 tight ends. The WR, Andre Johnson had the most catches while the two TE were 2nd and 3rd in receptions. Willis Magahy was the RB. Both those TE's went on to be pro bowler TE's in the NFL, as was Johnson. Dorsey took full credit the win, but maybe he was just in the right place at the right time.
When Daboll left the Bills to coach the Giants, Dorsey was moved up to the OC. He convinced the Bills' Brass, McDerrmitt, Beane and Pegula, that the 2 TE offense was the way to go, so they drafted Kinkead. The problem is that the Bills don't have 2 real pro bowl tight ends. If he thought he could duplicate the Brady-Gronk or the Mahommes-Kelsay pairings, he was dreaming. He also refused to play the faster WR's he has on the team. Isabella is a 4.31 guy who languishes on the taxi squad, never even dressing on gameday.
The special teams coach that had 12 men on the field may have been at fault, but then McDermitt wanted the FG kick coverage on the field and Denver used a hurry up to catch the extra man, so that's how the penalty happened.
Brady, the new OC, coached Joe Burrows at LSU. He won the Heisman, with Brady as the passing game coordinator, when they won the college championship. Cincy WR Chase, his battery mate at LSU, said of Brady, he always got us into the right play. And, Brady was the OC at Carolina for nearly 2 years. The Bills also hired Henry, who is a top WR coach with players like CD Lamb, OBJ, Boldin and Ramsey to some of their best seasons.
And, the Bills were said to have the best pass blocking line in the NFL this year, so far.
You know I have been a Bills fan since the team came into the league in 1960 (first as in the AFL). The last two weeks I was so disgusted with their play, that I left in the 2nd period during the Tampa game and didn't watch the 2nd half of the Denver game. I've never done that before, not watching the whole game. That's why Dorsey had to be fired, the Bills were rapidly losing the fans support. This was the opinion of a lot of "fans" I talked too before, the firing.

Ken Dorsey had a supercar and didn't know how to drive it. McDermott has several key players injured on defense and his squad kept the Bills in games. He has been doing more with less. Dorsey on the other hand, has been doing less with better players.
People love talking about the bills without the perspective of the pain bills fans are going through. You have to understand that after a 17 year playoff drought, and constant painful losses, 4 straight years in the playoffs is amazing, and it just sucks to have the media basically always laughing at us and wishing us to lose. I just wish if we lost they could shut up and let us lose, but every loss it seems to be “who else could another team snag from Buffalo, maybe josh Allen could go to another team and make another city happy.” We don’t even like being in the national spotlight, and I think josh deserves to be criticized a lot, but I feel bad for him at the same time with the way everyone is treating him
