My wife has a 2021, not much has changed from your tester, though I noticed the digital gauge cluster looks updated. Cant go wrong with any XC90 trim, they’re low key, yet reliable and have a clean modest look. Thanks for the nice review Ben.
Buick isn't Chinese owned, Buick is owned by GM. Not sure why it bothers you. China have done a far better job of running Volvo than Ford did, and Tata are also running Jaguar Land Rover better than Ford did. .
I drive a 2017 S90 that I absolutely love, and my Dad just bought a new XC60 earlier this year - which is a really great vehicle. I was a little jealous of his XC60 and some of the new features it has. When we're ready to get my wife a new vehicle, the XC90 will be at the top of our list. I really like the subtle improvements that Volvo has made over time, they really make a great product!
We recently purchased a used (barely) 2020 XC90 Inscription T6 -and are madly in love with it! I've also test-driven the 2024 XC60 B6 and have to say the engine is silky smooth - an absolute beautiful drive!
I got a 2023 B6 Plus in October. I’ve driven Volkswagens, Audis, and to be honest, no one is offering the level of refinement and presentation that Volvo does. I cross shopped this with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, Land Rover Discovery and the Mercedes GLE. This vehicle offers best value, best options, best price bar none.
Beautiful car. I’d buy one today if they had physical buttons for climate control seats and heated steering wheel. If I have to use a touchscreen for those functions its a no deal.
That fells like a dumb reason to pass on such an amazing vehicle, especially when all vehicles are gonna be like in the near future I guess you’ll be on a bike real soon
I have a 2016 XC90. It is currently at the dealership getting the engine repaired for the faulty rings. Volvo is making the repairs for no cost and part of that deal includes getting a loaner to drive. They gave me a 2024 B6 XC90. I have to be brutally honest as someone who has bought 3 Volvos. My oldest has the 2012 S60 I used to drive and we purchased a low mileage used 2009 S80 about 4 years ago for my youngest to drive. If I had never driven a Volvo before I think I would like the 2024 B6 XC90. But I do not, and I am a big fan of Volvos. It lacks the power of my 2016, some of the interior materials feel "cheaper", the seats don't seem to be the high quality that has come to be "legendary" in Volvos, and so far it is not very good on gas. It is my understanding that Volvo will soon be only manufacturing EV's. That is sad. I will continue to take very good care of my 2016 so I can drive it much longer. Tomorrow is actually the "anniversary" of the day I drove it home from the dealership. It has 71K miles on it. There is just something "off" on these new onea that I don't like. Anyone else have an older one, had occasion to drive a newer one for a bit and feel the same? God Bless 🥰

They are very nice. But Chinese ownership ruins it for me.
I thought it’s Buick ? So now it’s both Volvo & Buick under Chinese ?

@@tylermacconnell217you do realize the XC 90 is built in Sweden right? Also, you do realize EVERY car part is made in China right?
Volvo is literally making one of the best SUVs on the market in any class
I literally wish people would stop saying literally, literally all the time.
Bro, I have the exact same car sitting in it right now 11 months ownership you did great job !

Volvo seats are no joke, best in the business.

One of my favorite cars i've had. Just replaced my '21 for a Defender, but had a XC60 prior to that.
Planning on doing European delivery of xc90 in June/July 2024.

@@EscapeFPs you’re not an offensive prick at all are you
The climate control is voice activated. You can also turn on the heated steering wheel and heated seats by voice.
Please slow down when you’re speaking.
The Volvo website is claiming 316 hp not 295 hp. Is 316 with the Polestar Tune perhaps? Hello? Helo? Anyone?
There are different versions. B5, B6 and B8. Different outputs.
