🔸🔸🔸🔸 2024 Volvo XC90 Recharge Plugin Hybrid - Is It STILL The ULTIMATE Luxury Mid-Size Three-Row SUV? Find Out 👉 th-cam.com/video/pC9ahgdNktI/w-d-xo.html 🔸🔸🔸🔸
We recently purchased the exact model (2024 XC90-B6 mild hybrid) without the Bowers & Wilkens upgraded sound system and probably some other amenities. (We have the B & W sound system on an 2018 Volvo V90 XC.) We didn't pay the $81,000 advertised in this TH-cam video. Instead we paid $66,000 at the Schumacher dealer in West Palm Beach. As our salesperson, Marc Falcon explained it: the three versions of the XC90 mild hybrid (Core, Plus, & Ultimate) are identical in engine performance, but they vary in cost, trim and luxury amenities. It seems the unadvertised price range for XC90 mild hybrids is in the $60,000-90,000 range. We've bought Volvo wagons and SUVs for the last 35 years for their functionality, practicality, safety features and understated prestige. You don't have to pay a luxury, high-end price (unless you want to) to drive this 2024 XC90 Volvo model. 😀 🚘😀
I don't think they go into the $90k range. They probably max out in the $80k range because this is an older SUV at this point in time & it would be going into the pricing for the EX90 which is their all-electric 3-row SUV
@@johnh4650 We visited the Volvo dealer twice before making a purchase. On the first trip we were quoted a base price of $80,000+ for a T6 model and before sales tax, dealer fees, and finance charges. We then visited a Lexus dealer down the street and placed a order on a $75,000 Lexus TX 500. Our qualm with the Lexus purchase was the 5.9%-7.9% finance rate that they were fumbling with. We then returned to Volvo and were given everything we were looking for: $66,000 sticker price, 3.99% finance rate for 72 months, and some discounts for being a repeat customer. But we compromised on the lower price B6 model because we already had the luxury interior and other extras like the Bowers & Wilkins sound system in our 2018 Volvo XC90 T6. Otherwise they drive the same, so we're happy with our vehicle and our deal.
I do love the design, the ultra-simple but luxurious interior, probably the best steering wheel, but I think the price is way too high for its size. I would rather buy a way bigger Yukon, Sequoia or Lexus for that money.
Volvo should have second choice for there engines 2.5 or 2.8 litter I own 2007 xc70 and I bought Lexus rx350 just because I don’t trust the 2.0 turbo for that heavy suv , I know for fact they lost lots of customers like me
Air suspension. Not good. I tend to keep my vehicles longer than most people do. I'm seeing the air suspension being an expensive headache as time goes by.
Thanks. You could have mentioned more specs like 0-60, mild hybrid operating characteristics, electric motor power/torque (increase over previous years), new 2.0 turbo only this year(no more supercharger) and possible driving/performance comparison with previous years (do you miss the supercharger or not). Anyway, I can look for other videos. I did also value the comments viewers added. (“Kool-aid for Democrats” is a wakeup call for me). Thanks bud.
Sometimes you have to drive for everyone else. As it's been said, "Drive Defensively". My first car was a 57' Chevy. I had a bumper sticker that read, "Drive defensively, buy a tank". I'm a retired Teamster with a plaque and jacket that say's "One million miles of accident free driving". Can I pound my chest just a wee tiny bit?
Sad to have to say it - but Volvo is overtaken by "all" premium brands XE 90- The model/car is old and with only one previous "facelift" The new EX 90 is- 1,259,100.00 Skr, estimated delivery time: 19-20 months NO THANKS, Volvo is not competitive, regardless of technology/appearance and price
@@Truth_seeker_24 Congratulations on your new car - but the xc90 was launched in 2014, and the xc 60 in 2017, the "platform" is old on which the car is based, see also the interior, etc.

Good Info.. We recently bought the exact same as you and I was wondering what I was missing as the price point in this vid seemed way off. Thanks!👍

@@graces.2827 I watched that review a long time ago so I'll take your word that I have been chastised, scolded, spanked and corrected (-; Come in?
what color is this car you are describing ?
No wireless charger for my phone?
I've been to the Shreveport-Bosier City area many times. You think your roads are bad, spend some time driving around in Houston.

Bro what you said makes no sense! Happy retirement my friend!
What in the world did you not understand about that comment? How old are you? @@EDDIE5918
Bright makes it look old. Why do Americans still want chrome on a car?

There's no such thing as an XE 90
Ja ja 🏆
Resale value will tell you all you need to know about reliability. Koolaid for Democrats @ their price point.
