    I remember the Dodgers winning this game on my birthday but I ended up going to the LA Kings home opener against the NY Rangers, sadly they lost 3-1 but they would end up meeting in the Stanley Cup Finals that same year and beat them. Oh yeah everybody at Staples Center went ballistic when the Dodgers score box went on the jumbo screen.

    I remember sitting in my night class checking my phone every 5-10 minutes to keep up with the game. Once class was done I rushed home, parked my car, ran inside and the very next pitch Uribe hits it out. Funny enough the same thing happened this past year with Joc Pederson in Washington. I was coming back from San Diego and as soon as I walked into my house Joc hits it out against Scherzer

    Thanks for posting this. Wish I could've been there just to watch "protect my pitcher" McCann. How many bench-clearing farces did he cause this year? Great to see him go out going 0 for 4, and having to watch the Dodgers bomb his pitchers. Sweet.

    Back when the team played with passion and emotion.

    • @ogloc4478
      @ogloc4478 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hard for them to play with this emotion considering it's the middle of the season right now. Still it's getting me pissed off how every year kershaw and Grienke suddenly win half their games or less in the playoffs after winning 85-90% of their regular season games. What the fuck is going on? The dodgers are the Memphis Grizzlies of mlb right now, except Memphis has a good excuse because of constant injuries.

      what are you talking about. we are on the Giants ass.

    • @TheMikestar77
      @TheMikestar77 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol...this was written two months ago I bet you wouldn't say the same thing now that they've almost certainly overcome the Giants in an incredible second half streak, especially considering the game the night before I write this was an epic walkoff comeback against the Giants in which plenty of passion and emotion was shown. You can never count the team out. This 2016 team has the best chance to win it all of any of the previous Dodger teams in the new ownership era. They may have lost Greinke but this team is the scrappiest, most resilient Dodger team in recent memory that has succeeded in a year when nearly everything has gone wrong for them.
