    Great update, it keeps that spark of interest in my eyes, still trying to get my monies all the way right before I can jump into Detroit. South Florida is watching 🗿⚡

    Hey Ed, it’s been awhile. I hope everything is well with you and your family. Ed, who’s buying or living in that area, students retirees or new people to Detroit? The townhouse is beautiful! Like always great video! I vote for more tour video. Happy Father’s Day Ed! I know you are a cool father like you are her! 🫶🏾

      Thanks Ms Pam! We are doing well, and thanks for watching as always. I had a great Father’s Day! It’s mostly mid thirties to early 50’s without families who live there. Many from out of state, and many from the suburbs coming down wanting to be in the city.

    I got 2 kids and a 3rd on the way lol. Can you tour houses in rosedale park? I love the big brick homes there. And outer drive too lol

    Missed opportunity here big bro, the restaurant/bar scene in that area would of been a nice talking point and some solid B roll to really show the neighborhood amenities.

      Your not wrong, it was in my initial plan, then shooting took a lot longer than I expected so I had to head out early. I do have a separate video about Brush Park and it’s a amenities though.

    Absolutely enjoyed the tour.. have been waiting to see one like this … that unit you showed was very nice but I didn’t care for the fact that the fire place WAS NOT WOOD BURNING … and that basement area was too small to be used for anything I could think of

      Thanks! Many more coming, going to try and add a tour video at-least every month if not twice a month.

    LOL...I'm just laughing my head off. I live near downtown, in the Woodbridge area. I've seen how obscene the price of homes has gone way up. Like @ MissPamR asked, who 's buying these homes?

    • @EdButlerDetroit
      @EdButlerDetroit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Woodbridge is a great area, and prices are only going to continue to rise there, as the surrounding areas continue to develop, and the word spreads more about the neighborhood

    • @WhispersOnLy
      @WhispersOnLy ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Out of state transplants are buying at the high prices, just like in South Florida 🗿⚡

    • @RobertSpiller
      @RobertSpiller ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WhispersOnLy And of course that drives up prices....just ripping off ppl. And once again in the future, prices will tank as the market just falls like it has done in the past. I past by those homes on a regular basis and they are not worth $700,000....

      Usually the wealthy suburbanists are buying their 2nd or 3rd home. I know plenty to buy a place in the city, so they can enjoy the nightlife without driving back home or young people, who are enjoying the nightlife. When they marry, have kids, back to the suburbs for the excellent school system. Sorry, Cass and Renaissance schools has changed in the last 20 years. Sorry, but I will take my quiet suburban life over city life. I was raised in Detroit and went to the suburbs in 1971. I visit Detroit for an eventor if someone gives me a free ticket for something.

      Crime is highl I lived directly across the street. I had my car and bike stolen. Cars, packages, bikes, you name it….residents are targets. There is a public housing community at the end of the block.

      Everybody doesn't want a property that big to maintain, and walkability is a huge draw for this area. All depends on the person for sure

    That unit is next to a vacant house that is regularly vandalized. Crime is high and it’s very congested during games and concerts. There is usually no street parking on that block so that one car garage is it. Definitely a move at your own risk. Also that unit was built in 2022 and the owner is already selling it. Maybe you should chat with neighbors when doing reviews. It’s very misleading.

      @@twinklegallery Dont shoot the messenger, im just giving a house tour of one part of the city that i personally love. Sorry you don’t feel the same, but there is nothing misleading in the video.
      Everything isn’t for everybody, so it sounds like this wouldn’t be for you and that’s totally fine.

      @@EdButlerDetroit I recently moved from directly across the street. My car was even in the video. I witnessed that development built over the past 4 years and also watched most of the owners move and either resell or lease. Again the crime is high and despite the new construction and recent development it is a challenging place to live. I notice as you walked you didn’t show the huge vacant house directly next door. Also the 2 beds started at $800k and up, studio was $700k. You did a great job, the video definitely is convincing, just not the reality.

    • @EdButlerDetroit
      @EdButlerDetroit  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@twinklegallery Gotcha, and to have that level of context I thought that might be the case. I actually wish I had gotten some shots of the house as I thought it was an architectural beauty, it isn’t your run of the mill vacant home. Inside of 7 years it will probably be renovated and offered on market above the million dollar mark I’d bet. But definitely appreciate you bringing a different perspective to brush park for me, I hadn’t considered it to anything but safe honestly.
      Hope you enjoy wherever you moved to a little more. 🙏🏾

    Waaaaay over priced!! Especially when you consider that the home insurance and car insurance will be 3 times what you pay in surrounding communities. I’m an insurance agent. People always get that sticker shock when they move here and get that insurance quote from me. Oh and by the way if you have kids be prepared to pay for private school too or send your kids to Detroit public.

    Looks good but cheaply made. Too much/ many useless, awkward small spaces. Walk 2-3 blocks, and you'll be hit with blight, homeless people, etc. Not worth the asking price or even close to it.
