Nice reaction :) Lidia became my main character in T8 because of her fighting style. She's pure Shotokan Karatedo and do it the way we practice in our Dojo (I'm a Shotokan Karateka myself since 2001 !) This style may ring a bell to many people because Shotkokan style has inspired many other FG character so far but Lidia do it at another level of accuracy ! ;) About her gameplay, in T7, she has some parry moves but very specific, one for left or right punch, one for right punches only, and another one for the lows. This is always risky to try. Her stances were very strong in T7 but also very hard to set efficiently. She was so much nerfed in T7 at the last patch because she lost some good OKI , I hope she will be good again. Anyway I'm so glad she's back and can't wait to play her again ! :)
I'm curious to try her out, she looks like a lot of fun. Thank you for the information and that's awesome you practice Shotokan Karateka! I used to practice Tae Kwon Do when I was younger.
they missed out on calling her The Winged Hussar of Karate. Also, I had told you how to say her name before lol. :P also, she plays like Hitomi but better.

Oh man! She's like a traditional karate style fighter? Seems like my style of fighter!
She does give off that style of traditional karate. I want to give her a try.

2:47 - this new rage arts for lidia is definitely like yakuza vibe for some reason.
It does give off those vibes. Also, a bit of Ukyo from Samurai Shodown as well.

Lidia looks cool but maaaaan, I just want my baby Julia/Jaycee back already! It was bad enough she was DLC in the last game.
Although I gotta say I love the design and colors of her karate gi!
The design here looks a lot better than in 7. I think Julia could make it in, perhaps next season? We have to see what's up then.
