The very thing that people remember is the way someone treats them when are in their most vulnerable moments.
I remember this song growing up in my teen yrs. I never had stability. It was rough. When I found it, Satan (just a way of me saying an Evil person) stepped in my life with malicious intentions. How stupid I was to fall for it (him) but I was never in love. Lies & Deceitful intentions surrounded me & I was clueless. I struggled with drugs for the 2nd time in life. I beat it. But sometimes I wish I hadn't. Seeing people & family for what they are can kill u deeply inside.
My 2nd set kids are almost grown & I'm gonna spend the rest of my life when they are away from my childhood family & my kids fathers. That is if I don't die from drinking & pill popping before then.
Spent my life Running & Dreaming. Dreams that will never come true. Gone. Forever.

Bless your heart dear,the important thing is that you did make darling,you made it, believe me I know what you mean all the death and pain that you go through and just when you think you can breathe bam something else , I've lived a lot of trauma abuse ,I was in survival mode for at least 50 years and for those years was depressed didn't do anything to hurt myself cause I knew it would hurt and mess my kids heads up, Im sure I done enough as it is I loved my children and their dad's but all their dad's was abusive and not healthy let alone drugs and alcohol,so I finally stopped dating the abuser for one thing then again wasn't for my safety,it was because of my children they would end up hurt or they would turn out to be abusers just like they saw and was around, that stuff is actually unhealthy for anyone to be around, that's why I was so messed up is when I was a child I was abused so there fore I picked abusers, that is what I was used to, and probably thought that I didn't deserve better, anyway love yourself whole heartily,like you have never loved anyone else bed,God, your children

Portland Oregon. 1981, got tickets for 2 bucks to see Loverboy at the Paramount Theatre , as a Rising Star concert ( KGON, local rock station ,sponsored these). Drove into the Big City with my best friend , in my purple Javelin, 2 clueless chicks but boy we had fun! We somehow sat upfront and the lead singer pulled my girlfriend up on stage and switched shirts with her! It was awesome. I think she still has that shirt. We are still buddies all these years later.

Nice job on the video. The lyrics are perfect.. no misheard words, or bad spelling etc., like most lyric videos have. Nice choice of font, and the timing is matched up perfectly. Great job. This is the quintessential hard rock song. Hard to imagine a more perfect one. Always felt that way. Yes it’s very 80s and very radio friendly. But it feels so powerful, memorable, catchy, raunchy.. everything a great song should be. Loverboy was cranking out the hits in the 80s but I think this was the cream of the crop.
