The tip about roasting the turkey in parts is actually genius. Everything can come out when it's ready instead of sacrificing the breast meat to the thigh meat!! Amazing 🤯
I remember one Thanksgiving, when there wasn’t a single beige food item on the table! If you put cherries along the whole length of one of those really big teriyaki skewers, you’ll have what I call, a Manhattan High Rise! I love how your hair matches your turkey!
I actually love the idea of someone bringing a serving platter for the host to borrow! Never would have thought about that (and then once the meal's done, you can wash it and send it home with a nice little Thank You card!). And I LOVE that roasted veggie platter- we're keeping things simple this year and I just know I'd be getting a BUNCH of lunches for work out of those roasted veggies! :)
I've used Melissa's "Simple Roast Turkey" recipe for years and so this feels like the next evolution - how to simply zhuzh up your simple roast turkey.
I love watching Melissa Clark videos because she talks to you like a helpful friend, making sure you are on the right track. Happy holidays!
Yes… she FEELS like a “normal” home cook too because she talks to us like we’re a friend she’s teaching her recipe to
More Melissa Clark please! As much as I’m loving all the other content, Melissa always reminds me why I love cooking
this format is an interesting callback to older editing styles! love it

I like the pressed leaves used to decorate the table.
Melissa is definitely one of my favorites.

I can’t believe she labeled the serveware.
I wonder how she get this job? She's probably knows someone in the industry
Find a way complicate every single thing while insisting the goal is simplicity. Ugh.
Anchovies in the gravy? No. Stop that.
