Rødecaster Troubleshooting | Fixing common problems with the RCP2 & Duo

- A large proportion of the consultation calls that people book with are for issues relating to Rodecaster or audio in general....
It is not that the Rodecaster itself has issues - but it is such a powerful device that there's a certain amount of complexity that goes with it and so sometimes problems are hard to diagnose.
Also, audio in general can seem somewhat abstract to many people... they know where the mic is and where they want the sound to end up, but what happens in the middle can be a mystery at times!
So I thought I'd share some of the frequent problems that people encounter, the troubleshooting steps I go through to diagnose the issues and of course the solutions to those common problems!

my virtual faders are locked, not sure if that is discussed here, but any help on that would be appreciated.
I basically connect my iphone 15 pro to the mixer and want to use the voice changer fx, also want to be able to play a song on the iphone while on the call
right now i can talk when its in bluetooth mode, but i see tutorials online that allow people to take calls when plugged in but for some reason my pro 2 duo isn't able to do that, updated the firmware, but there seems to be no obvious solution.
Connected to usb 2 in mix minus mode.
Great video but please have timestamps next time… video is impossible to watch in its current state unless you have 1.5 hours to devote to this..
Your information on gear and tech is always great. But there is one video that no one has tried to do. It is extremely important. How do you use the Rhodecaster Pro 2 with the Yolobox Ultra? This important video is something no one has taken on. Can you be the one?
I just picked up a Rodecaster Duo and have noticed an issue I haven't had before with any of the original Rodecaster Pros I have had. With the Duo, my audio sounds layered like I'm recording my voice with two mics at the same time. I have every channel switched off except for the one my mic is plugged into and can't find a fix for it. I've tried several different mics and still the issue persists. I figured it was a routing issue but have yet to figured it out. Any thoughts?
I have a rcd and have a ton of buzzing using mic 2 as line in. Is this a cable problem, or does it need tuning?

Pause whenever you have the urge to say those filler sounds. You'll get there!
