    You know, I've seen these for sale. But I've never seen one actually "grow" I thought they might be like Euphorbia decaryi. The leaf will root & survive for quite some time, but never produce a plant! I'm glad you showed me this!! Very cool it's growing!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks to across the Emerald Isle, happy growing!!!! Peace,Love,Plants✌💖🌵🌷🌴🌺🌲🌻🌸

    So exciting!!! What a lucky sign! My 'leaf' is about 2 years now, so I'm not giving up hope! I didn't see a stem node when I repotted, just a root, but maybe I wasn't wise enough then to be able to distinguish. I remember it had been rooted in some sort of oasis, that I picked out from around the root.

    • @desertplantsofavalon
      @desertplantsofavalon  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats great news that you have had your Hoya kerri leaf two years as they usually die off quite quick if they dont have the nodes, and I bet you will see new growth on yours in the near future too :-D and if you have a root on it thats a very good sign it will grow into a full plant :-D thanks so much Nathalie for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from Belfast to Dublin for a terrific Thursday XXXX

    Ah Lyn, I don''t believe it! There's actually life in this little mystery plant! I had one with a little node attached but because it never did anything for three years I threw it out recently - I hang my head in shame! Your patience seems to be endless and because of it you were rewarded! Like I say, you have a special ability and wave length with plants and that's why they grow so well for you. Well done, I'll be looking forward to seeing little Hoya's progress over time! :-) xxj

    Oh wow that’s amazing. My single leaf hoya I got Valentine’s day 2018 died just before autumn maybe because i put it into the greenhouse after living inside the house since i got it, maybe didn’t like the temp there, but I was really impatient that time and thought maybe bringing it there will help it grow. Would be 3 years next year and might have new growth if I just let it alone inside the house huhu 😢

    • @desertplantsofavalon
      @desertplantsofavalon  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kaye :-D often when the seedlings go reddish colour its due to too much light, if they are in a very bright or sunny position you can move them to a shadier place or cover them with a light shade covering, double check that there are no signs of hidden pests that can be causing the stress, as seedlings can go a red colour if they are stressed due to not enough water, pests in the soil or more commonly excess light, thanks so much for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a wonderful Wednesday XXXX
