- The FinTech Hub in New Town Kolkata promotes clustering for FinTech companies. New Town's FinTech Hub, a part of the Financial Hub, is close to the IT Hub at Rajarhat and Salt Lake Sector 5 as well as in close proximity to 4 functioning Universities, Cultural Centres, Convention Centre, and Business Club.
Bolo Ki Jante Chao physically visited for the 3rd time and found HDFC office construction ,Bandhan Bank New Head Quarter Construction , Karnataka Bank and National Insurance Company new Headquarter construction and some others . According to an article Kolkata is poised to emerge as a major financial centre by 2030, a senior government official today said.
Quoting a study prepared by McKinsey Global Institute, Debasish Sen, additional chief secretary, IT & electronics department of the West Bengal government said Kolkata was one of the top Indian cities emerging as the epicentre of global financial activities by 2030.
On the other hand The proposed Bengal Silicon Valley IT Hub is an Innovative Information Technology hub cutting-edge technology, which is envisioned to attract investment in IT/ITes/Telecom projects with employment potential. This will be a futuristic hub that will catalyze the IT ecosystem in the state and will act as a beacon for the IT industry.The foundation stone of the project was laid on 13th August 2018 by Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Smt Mamata Banerjee.
But we didn't find much development at plot of silicon valley hub plot .

Both are different IT hubs Fintech hub is small compared to silicon valley but its construction has started back and few buildings are about to finish .. Whearas silicon valley Construction will begin next year . Both are in newtown
