Dining on P&O Arvia. How to BEAT the restaurant queues.

- Does "Freedom" dining really give you freedom, or are the queues really as bad as they say? Here, I talk about the different restaurants on P&O Arvia, and tell you my best tips and hacks to keep your queue time to a minimum. Whether you dine at Meridian, Zenith, The Olive Grove, The Keel and Cow, Sindhu, Green and Co, The Epicurian, The Limelight Club, Hook Line and Vinegar, Fusion, Roast or the Horizon Buffet, these hacks and tips for travellers will provide advice to keep your holiday running smoothly. You can choose Freedom dining on any of P&O's ships, or you can choose Club dining, where you dine at the same table and time every evening, on all ships except Iona and Arvia. Club dining is available on Britannia, Arcadia, Azura, Aurora and Ventura.

Hi Captain Chris not cruised since pandemic we always went freedom dining on Azura & Ventura do you know if its the same system on them ships for freedom dining as before the pandemic we just turned up to queue early to be seated straight away.
Hi. We found it much harder to get seated straight away on Arvia this year, although Arvia has far more passengers than Azura & Ventura. You might get seated if you're down there first thing, but by 7pm, we had no chance of being seated, so we found using the virtual queue or pagers worked best for us. Club dining gets you the same time, at the same table every evening, which gives you certainty, but no flexibility, and isn't available on Arvia & Iona anyway. My advice would be to embrace the virtual queue on your phone, but join it as soon as it opens. Hope this helps. Enjoy your holiday.
Useful, but it appears that the 6.30pm or 8.30pm sitting option is not available on Arvia, it's all freedom dining.
Thank you for this comment. Although P&O's website says that club dining is available on all ships except Iona, you are right that Iona and Arvia are Freedom dining only. Club dining is available on every other ship. Best wishes, and enjoy your holiday.
