I LOVE Vashon Island! I went to a parade there once and the biggest “float” was a dalmatian in a little red wagon. It is the cutest place! Also gorgeously beautiful, because of course it is, it’s the PNW.

I worked on a geoduck farm once. The field was on a calm pebble beach with evergreen trees and snowcapped mountains in the background.
All the geoducks got exported to China where they are considered an aphrodisiac

Geoduck is called mirugai / giant clam in sushi restaurants, although I don't think it's common outside of high end places anymore, because most of the geoduck in PNW is bought by people in China.
I really like Joel McHale, but his role as a demanding a-hole chef in The Bear was totally believable.

Using the . key to move forward very slowly, it looks like a brown shoe. Seth is leaning back and straightening one leg. Maybe his shoe flew off - or he kicked it off. He seemed very nervous about the thought of eating a geoduck!

To be fair, there are 2-toe sloths and 3-toe sloths.
The flub, too, is the sloth was a female, named Serenity, and Seth did one of his best Correction joke runs about her being a stripper and him taking her to the car, which took hours
So, Seth corrected his misgendering of Serenity in Corrections episode 37 near International Women’s Day 2022, then misgendered Cocaine Bear on International Women’s Day 2023, and for International Women’s Day 2024, misgendered Serenity again before segueing into talking about the tv show The Bear.
I love the slow burn of the Corrections story lines.
