I've had two female barbers in my life and they absolutely have been better than the male barbers. A woman knows what looks good on a man and she cares about how a man takes care of himself. Just my opinion.
She is so cool. I love the way she pampers her clients and how she understands what they need and takes the time to educate them. That's empowerment. I think I need to go to barber school lol.

Yeah Aloe Gel or Single Bible (that's what I know it by growing up back home, Aloe Vera is the European name to me) is good for getting your hair soft before you comb it too, especially if you got a thick and or long beard.
