      And the only one still operating😕
      I still think other ships were better, like the original Queen mary and the Olympic or the Mauretania

    Wow. Tbh the QM2 is not my favourite. I really like the uh... Adriatic. I am impressed by your building skills.

    Hey there! Wonderful job that you did with this one! I am currently building the same kit, and I like to check how others built it so I can get inspired xD. Yours is really serving as a reference for mine. I bought this kit on a moment of enthusiasm with Ocean Liners back in 2015, and with zero experience with plastic models, so the QM2 will be my first assemble. I have very few tools and so I hand painted the entirety of it... took forever, but the results are so far making me very proud.
    And I really envy these photo etched parts of yours... wish that I could get those. I'll probably use the original railings and hope for a final result as impressive as this one here. Congratulations for your build!

    Nice build. For an easy added touch I would recommend some PVA or Crystal Clear in those open front windows.

    0:47 under my order from your store 🏬 I got it for sale on Friday and then the first time that came back in town was that the price of the truck 🛻 was sold at this price range so we have no problem paying for that price tag and the amount is going through in a lot Pasadena and not just one

    I am insanely Jealous you got this, when it was out, I wanted it so bad, and I Cried a lot because of how bad I wanted to get it. I ain't Fair, my parents didnt let me buy it, and back then, it was about 40$/40€ and now if I want it, Its about 169$/169€ is there a way to get this Cheaper?

    • @Atomicvex06
      @Atomicvex06 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is there still a way to get it like, under at least 60$/€ because I always was in LOVE with this ship, I always drew it when I was younger, so techniccly this is a MUST have for me.

    Is this the level 5 kit or the regular one?

    • @tiger_icecoldlive6762
      @tiger_icecoldlive6762  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s an older kit that doesn’t even have these levels but it would be level 5 because of the many parts. But it is not the new platinum edition. I bought an extra photoetch kit myself. The quality of that older Revell kit required a lot of correction work and sanding - lots of sanding…

      With a thin paintbrush and Revell 301. It turned out to be far from perfect, but I didn’t have enough patience there.

    • @tiger_icecoldlive6762

      Mr Thomas Andrew Well, nothing really special here. I used the QM2 1/400 Revell Kit and also a QM2 photoetch set from Gold Medal Models. Large areas were painted with airbrush and Tamiya acrylics and sealed with Tamiya semigloss varnish from the spray can and small areas were painted with small brush and Revell enamel paints. Photo etched parts were painted with airbrush and Tamiya acrylics. The build time was like 5 months.

      Hi, are you serious? 🙂I didn't thought about selling it, but if you are really interested, what are you willing to pay? Please DM me here: tiger.icecold@gmail.com. I was already asked about a price here on YT and this was my answer: "The model kit alone costs 65 bucks. Plus paints, varnish, primer, glue etc and the photoetched kit for fine details costs alone 55$. Plus shipping for all this and we are round about 200$ just for raw materials. And now count in 5 months of work."
