The little things with the editing, like the quick zoom in on the ghost cup slapping down, or the little effect when you held it up next to your face, always crack me up! They really make your videos feel like their own category and all your videos are always so fun to watch!
So to do the chocolate milk in advance rachel, you can put the fluff in all the cups, put the marker on them, set them aside and then when everyone gets there fill up the cups as people want some
Best Halloween costume was in college … as a tall girl myself (5’10”) with a petite roommate , we went as the Jolly Green Giant and Sprout. We wore green leggings and shirts, twisted green pipe cleaners and fake flowers around our arms and legs and green make up. We were too cute.
I *love* the pitch black and support it *entirely.* I have migraines with some regularity and that contributes, but honestly I just like it. ❤ Thank you for what you do!
For icing the donuts, you can put the icing in a shallow bowl and dip them. Dip the donut, lift it, give it a twist to catch the drips, and set it back on the rack. No piping bag needed, and much faster.
I use a donut pan to bake extra pancake batter with a bit of sprinkles mixed in, the kids love them. They take them for a special school snack that is super easy.
I’ve gone twice as a crazy cat lady with a pink fuzzy robe and stuffed cats pinned all over. But my favorite is one year I went as Penelope Garcia from Criminal minds 😂
For the ghost cups with the pudding, you could put the crumbled oreos on top with gummy worms to make it look like a graveyard 🤗. It would be so cute and “spooky”
Yes!! She even thought her ghost looked like a tombstone at one point lol. So you could even mix them by doing a few tombstones and a few ghosts....and add the oreos and worms just like you said. Too cute.🌙🪦🧡👻
Halloween is my favourite holiday. I love coming up with a costume and scouring thrift stores for the perfect pieces! My favourite costume was a ventriloquist puppet. This year, I'm dressing up as a gumball machine!
I use a spice cake mix with pumpkin to make muffins. Also, you could dip the tops of the donuts into the glaze rather than pipe it on. I think the cookies were adorable but would be easier to eat with some frosting inside, making it into a cookie sandwich.
One of my fav costumes as an adult was when I dressed all in grey, put grey powder on my hair, and stapled grey paint swatches all over my shirt - 50 Shades of Grey 😊
That's fantastic! I love these costumes. I once put a square piece of white paper with a giant "Fe" on my chest while wearing all black and was "Iron Woman".
Your cheese ball looks so cute😍I didn't think the white is an issue! I currently have gold, pink, white, and peach pumpkins for decorating. I can't tell you how much I look forward to Thursdays and Saturdays. That ghost is adorable
Beth Chapman! ~Personally, I would have drawn on the ghost face, BEFORE I put liquid in the cup, but that's just me.🤗 ~🧋🥛RACH, I have an idea; Use melted chocolate to draw on the ghost face inside the cup (I would use a chop stick or wooden skewer) - Let set till set, then gently apply the fluff ghost over the chocolate face - The let set or maybe chill for a short bit to set, and then add the drink. - no mess to worry about and well chocolate!
Wow! I love how you uploaded just when I started eating breakfast. This'll be great to hopefully find one for my daughters preschool potluck! ❤ Also I love the "thanks for asking" family phrase throwback
As a Canadian living overseas, I still LOVE Halloween but good luck trying to justify knocking on random strangers' doors to ask for candy to my 12 yr old! "So, ghosts like to eat pumpkin and that's why you wore a costume!?!" "Why the vampire teeths, aren't they from Transylvanya?" Well, to my other fellow Canadians, Happy Halloween!!!!
I feel like the ghost one would work really well with like Jello pudding. You could prepare it ahead of time and store them in the freezer. Then the kids (or you) could draw on the faces
When I was in high school, I made a Dorothy costume and my 2 or 3 year old nephew was the tin man. Last year (15 years later) my daughter wore the same tin man costume… I definitely didn’t fit the same costume so I bought a Dorothy costume 😂😂
I do halloween siblings costumes every year for my kids. 1st year, my daughter was a cow and I turned her stroller into a barn, my son was a farmer. 2nd year they were a bar of soap and a loofah, 3rd year my daughter was Dorothy and my son was a tornado (my favorite costumes by far!) and this year my daughter is a slice of pizza and my son is the pizza delivery guy. 😊
The pumpkin cheese ball usually makes an appearance every year at Halloween or Thanksgiving with our family! Definitely want to try the pumpkin donuts!
My most anticipated video you put out every year is finally here!!!!! 🎉🎉 I don't have a personal favorite costume but one year i helped my mom and her boyfriend with their costumes for a party. Sweet old black widow and her corpse husband
Several years ago I went as the Raven Queen. I glued black iridescent feathers on a corset, black sequins on a tulle skirt, wore black oil slick boots and black tights, and did my makeup very goth and purple iridescent. I found a black filigree mask and put feathers in my hair, which happens to be black with violet highlights. Oh, and black raven wings. I LOVE that costume!
On the 👻 cups just put another cup on over it. Now it’s protected & a little insulated. I like to put a little peace of paper towel on the bottom between the cups to catch condensation. Great way to put a name on each cup also. ❤
When I was a kid my mom used to make all our costumes. Here are a few, an elephant, ghost, hobos, refrigerator, and my grandma made a clown costume that they mom and grandma stuffed a ton of balloons, my mom used to own a vintage shop, she had a flapper dress and headband thingy. I took it in and my daughter dressed as a flapper girl.
You should check your local library for weird pans you're only going to use once. I'm in a small city in AB and ours has a bunch of different shaped ones that you can borrow so long as you have a library card!
I did a pumpkin cheese ball last year for my Thanksgiving charcuterie board and it was a huge hit! Instead of shredded cheese on the outside, I did everything bagel seasoning. Super yummy!
I feel like some spices added to the donut batter would be better to make them pumpkin spiced. Maybe nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice. Also, I think you may need to replace your confectioner’s sugar with a fresh bag cause it’s hard and clumpy. The donuts look amazing! Permanent marker isn’t dry eraser marker, lol 🤣 the ghosts are adorable on the cups! Haven’t gotten to the cheese roll yet but I really want to eat it just seeing you mix the cheeses together! Yummmmmmmm I am a cheese addict! 🎉
18:07 it's at around this time that I realized our nails are the same color! Haha. I love the pudding ghost cups, I would put broken up cookies on top as dirt and maybe some gummy worms or gummy body parts. Make it a whole graveyard thing!
My friend who is a nurse loaned me a pair of army fatigues and she wore an army shirt. We were an Upper and Lower GI. 😂 Love medical staff when it comes to Halloween
I'm an actuarial analyst and one Halloween at work I dressed up as an actuarial exam because those things are SCARY 🤣 As for a less geeky costume, I dressed up as Winnie the Pooh on another Halloween at work. I got a red tshirt and used fabric paint to draw on "Pooh", wore some orange-y yellow pants, my Pooh Vans shoes and Pooh Mickey hat from Disney World, and brought my favorite stuffed Pooh with me. It was cute. I never dress up for Halloween anymore (prior to these times, I think my last costume was during my high school days. I wore one of those creepy unicorn head masks hahah)
We do this at our cafe with the fluff. Last year, I extended it through our fall and Christmas drinks. Pumpkin shapes and Christmas ornaments, etc. It was a huge hit and sold way more drinks.
Best costume I had I think is one I made by myself that is a cookie monster. I sew the face on a blue t shirt and made a blue tutu skirt. Also I took a basket and wrapped it in blue faders and filled it with chocolate chip cookies. 🤪🍪 Rach as the queen of chocolate chip cookies I dare you to wear one!😜
- piping tip would help with the icing lol - Hidden valley is really the only brand that makes "ranch seasoning" . In the states it will be the top shelf of where the salad dressings are. It is not cheap even here. A bottle is normally $9-12 usd depending on what store you're in. I just looked on CA Amazon, they do sell it on there, but $34+ I'm guessing that cad and not usd....$12 USD is about $16.50....so Amazon is double the price. If you had a PO box id happily ship you some 😊 if not, if you ever come to the US, definitely grab some. It's really good!
I'm going as Ted Lasso for Halloween and I think that's going to be amazing but my best couple costume was Belle and Gaston, lol. Also, I want that green and wooden mixer and also we just carved pumpkins and it was so much fun. I did a witch hat!

the marshmallow fluff ghost on the glasses.. you could still do the chocolate milk idea if you just prep the ghost ahead of time, do not fill it with the chocolate milk until ready to serve... could also do the same thing for other holidays by coloring the marshmallow fluff.. red or pink hearts for valentines day.. green xmas tree.. etc

So I took my senior prom dress, which as an Elder Millennial was of course Titanic inspired 😂, and added a life jacket I made out of blocks of foam and a white terry cloth towel. I found a make up kit at WalMart for an “Ice Queen” which was PERFECT: took a shower and washed my hair, immediately put gel in the wet hair to keep it wet looking. Painted my face white and glued the Ice Queen crystals to my face. I also had a whistle 😂😂😂 because it was like 2005, there are no photos of this bc it was pre-smart phone but I still think about how proud I was of that costume. (I also had a pretty great Professor Trewlaney costume once. And one year, a coworker and I went as a pair of contestants on Legends of the Hidden Temple…)

I live in Northern Wisconsin (which in my mind is basically Canada weather wise) I can absolutely say kids and onesie Halloween costumes are the way to go. The amount of times I've had the cutest costumes only to cover them up completely with jackets hats etc because October 31st actually feels like winter...
When my bonus daughter was 3 and really into Scooby Doo, she was Scooby, her daddy was Shaggy, and I was Velma. We looked awesome! And my husband was able to wear his costume to work (we worked in theatre), so he got a box of Scooby branded dog biscuits, cleaned it out really good, and refilled it with Cocoa Puffs, then carried it around all day randomly snacking. People kept asking him if he was really eating dog food!! (Don't worry, our dog got the real snacks) Second best Halloween, our 2 sons were Pokemon, and we dressed as Trainers. Kids got some new toys out of it to boot. :)
I was Pocahontas and Jasmine when I was a kid. I loved those costumes. My grandmother made them, she made all my Halloween costumes when I was little. I wish I still had them. Another favorite was I dressed as Kirsten, the American Girl doll, and that year we were at Disney world on Halloween!

Am I the only one who wants to see a picture of Rach and Chris as Dog and Beth the bounty hunters?
Haha ne foo

Sent the twins as Calvin and Hobbes. Best costume ever!
Halloween is my favourite holiday. I love coming up with a costume and scouring thrift stores for the perfect pieces! My favourite costume was a ventriloquist puppet. This year, I'm dressing up as a gumball machine!
I think the cookies could use a little marshmallow fluff in between to hold the back part up. Fun video Rachel.
Or ice cream!
I use a spice cake mix with pumpkin to make muffins. Also, you could dip the tops of the donuts into the glaze rather than pipe it on. I think the cookies were adorable but would be easier to eat with some frosting inside, making it into a cookie sandwich.
Oooo. Could you do this with ice cream and make ice cream sandwiches?
That sounds delicious!
Genius!
One of my fav costumes as an adult was when I dressed all in grey, put grey powder on my hair, and stapled grey paint swatches all over my shirt - 50 Shades of Grey 😊

The ranch packet comment!!!! I'm in Alberta and finding them is like finding gold. And so many viral recipes use them 😂
If you have Costco, at least by us they have ranch powder in a big jar
I use the stuff from Bulk Barn!
You can make your own pretty easy. Make a large jar that you can keep sealed, and just use how much you need per recipe
You filling the cup and THEN drawing the eyes was more than my heart could take. 😞
Beth Chapman!
~Personally, I would have drawn on the ghost face, BEFORE I put liquid in the cup, but that's just me.🤗
~🧋🥛RACH, I have an idea;
Use melted chocolate to draw on the ghost face inside the cup (I would use a chop stick or wooden skewer) -
Let set till set, then gently apply the fluff ghost over the chocolate face -
The let set or maybe chill for a short bit to set, and then add the drink. - no mess to worry about and well chocolate!
Wow! I love how you uploaded just when I started eating breakfast. This'll be great to hopefully find one for my daughters preschool potluck! ❤

Pumpkin doughnuts with cream cheese icing slaps!🤤
"Quoting my 18 year old"
Your 18 year old is correct. They do in fact slap hard
@@gwenculver1040 🤣🤣🤣 you made my day.

love to wake up on my Sunday morning to you (in New Zealand). Adore you ❤

The ghost cups would be cute with dirt pudding and a little candy/chocolate tombstone on top of the pudding.
Loving the background!
My niece and nephew loved when I made them the ghost chocolate milk! 👻👻
The pumpkin cheese ball usually makes an appearance every year at Halloween or Thanksgiving with our family! Definitely want to try the pumpkin donuts!
Someone send her ranch packets! Life changer. Ranch potatos are my favorite!
My most anticipated video you put out every year is finally here!!!!! 🎉🎉
I don't have a personal favorite costume but one year i helped my mom and her boyfriend with their costumes for a party. Sweet old black widow and her corpse husband
There are pumpkin’s that color so it totally works! So cute
People have been suggesting dressing up babies this year as Moo Deng the adorable aggressive baby hippo, which I cannot wait to see. 😅
Try crunching up dorittos and putting it on the cheese ball
So awesome!!

I asked the same question. I really need to know!
I’m almost positive it’s from Amazon. I think she reviewed it on her other channel.
Also need to know!
@@angelwings1979 Thanks for the tip here! Any recollection on how long ago or which video? Appreciate you!
I did the marshmallow fluff ghost, but with white chocolate so it stayed better in drinks
I’m so excited for this! I’ve missed your videos.💯❤️🫶🏼
Way back when I was in my 20/30s I dressed up at work as Beetlejuice one year and Maggie Simpson one year, those were my favorites!😊👻
Dressing as Lydia Deetz was definitely my favorite costume and the best part was that most everything I wore i already had.
I’m doing a medieval queen of hearts costume this year. Then I can wear it to a renaissance festival too. Super excited!
When I was a kid my mom used to make all our costumes. 22:30 I think your cheese ball looks great! With the white cheese it almost looks like mold, if ya sprinkle some pepper on it😅
Stickers for the ghost face!
You should check your local library for weird pans you're only going to use once. I'm in a small city in AB and ours has a bunch of different shaped ones that you can borrow so long as you have a library card!
I've made the pumpkin puree and cake mix recipe as cookies. Just added chocolate chips. Delicious!
FYI, Wal Mart and Party City have a 16” prismatic ghost! Walmart is a lot cheaper.

My favourite Hallowe'en costume was my Siouxsie and the Banshees-inspired punk look
So this year my husband and I are doing a couples costume. His t-shirt will say "Peter Peter" and my shirt looks like a pumpkin 🎃 😂
I went as Elizabeth Swann from Pirates of the Caribbean one time. Another time, I went as Cleopatra.

I think a good alternative to craving might be just drawing on the pumpkin. Or if you want like, pumpkin shaped lanterns
We make the pumpkin cheeseball every year (for at least the last 8 years) for both Halloween and Thanksgiving! It’s a huge hit!
Hubby and I got married as frankenstein’s monster and frankenstein’s bride. 🤭🤭
Where is that shirt from?! Neeeedddd😍😍
Did a Google image search and I think it’s the Free People One Scout Jacket. I didn’t see that color but the details look the same.
I'm going as Ted Lasso for Halloween and I think that's going to be amazing but my best couple costume was Belle and Gaston, lol. Also, I want that green and wooden mixer and also we just carved pumpkins and it was so much fun. I did a witch hat!
Need googly eyes on the ghost cups 😮❤
Then you have kids swallowing googly eyes. No, thank you.
I did pumpkins with my niece nd nephew. I love those carving kits with the blades and spoon!!
Completely unrelated but your hair looks so pretty and healthy!!

the marshmallow fluff ghost on the glasses.. you could still do the chocolate milk idea if you just prep the ghost ahead of time, do not fill it with the chocolate milk until ready to serve...
could also do the same thing for other holidays by coloring the marshmallow fluff.. red or pink hearts for valentines day.. green xmas tree.. etc
I made my daughter a Mad Hatter costume about 5 years ago and this year we’re making an Effie Trinket costume off the hunger games! So excited 😊
The next time you frost donuts (I did Apple Cider with Caramel icing last week, highly recommend!), dunk the donut into the icing, instead of piping it on. It will go a lot faster and be more evenly coated.
My crowning costume achievement was when I was maybe 23 or 24. I went as Rose DeWitt Bukater post-iceberg in the water. Shallow wide bowl and you dunk the donuts, shake off the excess and it works great. Also with the donuts those would be AMAZING with a spice cake mix!
