For Peace in the sny regions, it all depends on their leaders ideology. Such as Palestine and Indonesia. The fact of this was observed during popes visits to Indonesian. It is not the pope role to take the lead to tell Hama and Israel putting down arms. He only pray for peace and encourage peace in any conflicting situation. If you have any problems with the popes, its your personal problem.
People are given free choice by God to not follow leaders, especially following leaders blindly. It's not just the Pope's role to tell Israel and Palestinians to put down arms, it is everybody's role, including you and me and the entire human race. We also need to call out bullying, especially those in positions of power. It is bot just the youth that is bullying people, apparently it isbalso the world leaders and their followers. Whereas under the New Covenant, the perfect Lamb of God, Christ Himself, replaces the imperfect sacrifice of old. It makes no reference either to sacerdotal priesthood under Christ or the unbloody sacrifice under John 6, which we have been called to commit to remembrance of the Lord. (Mark 14; Luke 22)
