I was home schooled and I was great friends with this girl next door who went to public school. She was so jealous of my school days and I was actually ahead of her in several subject - it wasn’t because she’s dumb or anything, she just had to go at the pace the school sets versus me going at my own pace. When she was in 4th grade, I was reading at a high school level and doing 7th/8th grade math and science. My school days were from 9am - about 12/1pm, the rest of the day was going outside and doing sports, going to a museum of some sort, or learning a home skill (chores, cooking, wood working, car fixes, etc) Field trips were trips to other states to learn about each state’s history/American history. We typically drove to these states so we can stop along the way in other states and learn something about our journey. And we did a couple international trips to the countries I really took interest in - Germany, Japan, and Israel. That was really fun too. My family doesn’t come from money at all either - I grew up in a trailer home and when I turned 16 my parents bought their first house. My parents just prioritized things differently and taught me that you don’t have to check certain boxes in a certain order like what society tells you to do. You can be successful in any order that is right for you as long as you follow through and don’t give up if you fail. Edit: please know that I understand today’s times are much different. Most households require a two-person income in order to keep up with cost of living. I’m in no way saying that people who go to public school are dumb or their parents don’t care. Parents try so much for their kids and if public school is the only option then that’s what you have to do. My home school experience was late 90’s - mid ‘00s. So yes, times were different. But if you do well today, I simply recommend homeschooling if you can swing it. If you can’t, then you can’t.

@edwardguzman1182 Oh! Almost like the same way other parents force you into public school? What do you mean. 😂 That goes both ways. I was forced to go to public when I absolutely hated it. At least at home school there's no bullying, risk of school shooting, you can actually learn at your own pace without a bunch of annoying distracting kids and teachers who don't care, and you can get done in half the time and actually live life rather than getting up extremely early, sitting in school for 8 hours only to go to sleep and start over. I wish I could do this! My son hates school and constant bullying 😔.. When he was home schooled during the pandemic he learned so much more by me teaching him and he could focus better. Your kids are lucky to have this life and blessed to have the financial stability to maintain it 🙏🏽
Bullying can make learning extremely hard because they focus all day on the torture.. wish you could homeschool its a real blessing in this world we live in today.. so much more brutal than when I was a kid.
There is a program called k-12, it’s home schooling and the teachers are very much hands on and my kids love it. The teachers are very attentive and k-12 sends all the materials, including the computers, printers, books etc. I love it and is very indecisive about putting my kids back in regular school.
You're doing great and they will remember these moments for the rest of their lives. I was also a home school kid, and my parents traveled too. It was uber fun and we have lots of pictures and videos of our adventures! This should be the new norm for children with hungry, brilliant minds. If people are able to of course.
Happy I subbed to you guys’ channel. I’m a single mom who’s looking for a remote job and was considering doing a short business or stickers business while home schooling. Seeing the interactive field trips you take your kids on is exactly what I want to do for my little one. Wow, the spirit led me to your channel. God bless
I loved being home schooled! The safety and I felt I learned a lot more. The only thing that people love to say what’s bad is because you miss out on certain activities and making friends, but they have programs where you can meet other kids that are home schooled. You can make the activities for your children! It’s not for unproductive or uncaring parents.
I love your last part of this comment. It is definitely not for those with an unproductive mindset. It requires so much discipline I find! I’ve been homeschooling my children for 4+ years now and I’ve got my kids on the car and out the door for co-op, karate, dance, etc. it’s alot to make sure they get in front of others like I desire them to 😊
wow, this is amazing. that set up? that food? absolutely incredible!!!!! the dedication and love ! wow, as a kid who never really had parents or anything nice growing up this makes me want to cry! so happy kids are getting such lovely things and being treated with such compassion. great job mom and dad! ❤❤❤❤ your kids will grow into such wonderful people 😊
Though I 100% agree with your comment, I think it comes from a place of either curiosity or in general if the kids are actually able to have a sustainable learning environment, there are vast of very different experiences of homeschooling from really good to really bad, but this mom is a wonderful example of a sustainable learning environment!
Because there are weird homeschool parents who teach their kids the Earth is flat and other nonsense and those kids grow up with such a large gap in knowledge they wouldn't be able to survive in the world. Not all homeschooling is like that, but some parents who do homeschool should not be the one's homeschooling. Plus sometimes the kids have a huge gap in social interaction which could also be damaging in the future, but I assume it's different for these kids since they made the transition put of public school and already have a circle of friends, plus I'm sure the parents nurture and encourage their kids to have many other social interactions outside of just their siblings. TLDR: Sometimes parents fu¢k it up for everybody including their own kids.
@@babyfaceweeb8937this is a silly comment. Public school children are taught nonsense and sometimes taught nothing at all. To make the base of your argument against homeschooling with “tHeY tEaCh tHeiR kiDS tHaT tHe eARtH iS fLaT” just makes you look as “weird” as some of these parents.
@@babyfaceweeb8937sometimes a lot of stuff could happen but you don’t restrict peoples choices because someone somewhere could possibly make a bad decision
You have absolutely made the right decision. I wish all families could do this. I admire you. I'm not sure I was smart enough to homeschool when mynfirls was growing up May God Bless your family.
Amazing & such a blessing! So happy for your kids to have parents that will make this level of sacrifice and recognize what's best for their kids/family! ❤
Love to see this, I was homeschooled 5th-12th grade and while I learned many things that public school would've never taught me, I envy how fun you make it! Wish this was my experience growing up. Keep up the good work!
This is how my husband and I want to raise our boys. They’re not old enough for school yet and my husband is in the Army but our dream is just to be home together and to travel and learn together.
A lot of public schools offer online courses for students after covid. My bf's younger sister does home schooling from the same school me andn her brother went to years before. Times are changing lol
I had a daycare in my home, which I likened to homeschooling. We were constantly on the go. This was the best way to teach the children. All their senses were involved in their learning.
people are jealous of you bc they don’t have what you have. i personally don’t have what you have but im so happy for you. i hope one day i can do this for my kids
Who is jealous of lazy kids? I'd literally rather go to an actual school than do homeschooling. Actual school teaches you time management and homeschooling doesn't get you adjusted to waking up early to be able to get to work on time. These kids just get up when they want and do work when they want, but that's not how the real world works.
@kia7314 You're assuming way too much from a TH-cam short and talking down about kids in the process. You think someone running their own business doesn't know about time management enough to teach their kids how to do so?
@@kia7314but even actual school doesn't even work the way that the real world work. And that's a lie because most kids who are in actual school don't learn that. Actually it starts at home to be honest with you. If you teach your kids how to prioritize their time at home there will be set for life.
@@kia7314 not true. it’s not lazy😂real school never taught me shit & i struggle so bad because the teachers were horrible. i learned more when i went to homeschooling. you sound pretty jealous & miserable. what makes these kids lazy? i would 100% rather homeschool my kids instead of having to worry about them getting shot up at the school or bullied.

@@JustKeepFightingOn lol right. I don't speak to a single person from my public school days. The older you get you learn you really only are friends with people because you spend so much time with them. If you change schools/get different jobs, unless both parties put in the effort, you're not gonna spend much time with the people ever again.
lol have you seen the state of public schools? If I had kids I would 100% would homeschool them. You can get them into activities and stuff to help them get a social life and stuff but at least for early school years I would do the same thing
With all those school sh00tings happening in the US I would be afraid to put my child in school. Those things never happened in my country thank God. Homeschooling is great, they can travel a lot and do sports so they can still connect with their peers.
That setup looks incredible. It would make me excited to come and learn every day, and the field trips idea is magical. Best way to learn. Well done Momma 👏❤
I am so happy your family gets to have those wonderful experiences and memories. I'm homeschooling my son and I wish I could do more for him though I know I am making memories and doing what's best for him either way. ❤
Girlie I am SO JEALOUS. You are living the dream. Do they have an interest/are they able to do sports if they want? My son would probably thrive on home schooling but also loves soccer and baseball
Homeschooling my son is one of my favorite choices I ever made with his adhd and separation anxiety school didn’t seem viable at first now it’s just not necessary for us. He does so well, is smart and well adjusted and I love being able to take him to cool places for educational trips and it makes it much easier to travel 👌🏻 love the setup for the kids too we’re about to redo his room and he would love something similar. He already asked for a drink fridge like that😂
That’s amazing! I think of all the field trips that never happened for my generation bc of the recession. Relying on the government can truly be the worst, especially if you’re in a position to do better for yourself. Continued blessings to your family! ❤
Wow what a beautiful neat idea. I love your creative beautiful way of making it pretty neat and organized for the kids even with the fridge. The way you left the desk with their mini fridge is REAL cute!
I love it. All of it. Left a corporate job to be at home with the kids. Kids getting a good education that would be $$$$ if such a package was available. Kids spending time with the family. I hope they are also learning about the Lord.
Homeschooling can be great if done the right way! Some parents do it just to give their kids revisionist history lessons and avoid fundamental science topics which will only hurt them if they decide to go to college, but we can see y'all did this to keep your kids safe and expose them to more than a public school can offer :)
I homeschool all 6 of my children and it is a privilege I’m blessed to have due to my supportive village. What I like most about it is being able to tailor the lessons to each child in a way they can best learn and understand.
Hi, I homeschooled my children. I did it during the time when I was constantly questioned about my decision. The time flew and if I could do it again my kids would have never entered traditional school. It was beneficial to my family. I have 4 children and the benefits are endless. No, it is not for everyone, but my children have not missed a beat. We played hard and enjoyed our own timing. I would do it again and again.
Your children are beyond beautiful! Not only are they able to see history firsthand, they are getting a quality education!! Congratulations Mom and Dad! 🎉🎉
You’re absolutely right, before you know it they’ll be getting married and having babies of their own. Enjoy their youth, enjoy their mistakes, enjoy their laughter because you never know what tomorrow holds for them or you.
You are so blessed as are your children. This is what i desperately wanted for my child. Divorce and then thought i can still do this for but people don't talk abt bitter baby daddies enough. Basically holding us hostage to pretend he wants to be an active parent and my child is missing out on these kind of experiences😢 I'm glad your children are having an amazing childhood. They deserve it!
I was home schooled for a few years when I was a kid due to my parents job requiring them to travel three to six times a year. I can honestly say that I loved it. It taught me so much more than what I would've been taught in school.
U go girl! U just blew up your family and made it successful and comfy for you and hubby to be home with the kids! Thats awesome! I wish my parents wouldve been home like that!
Whenever a story of “homeschooling” gets into mainstream it’s usually because the parents wanted to cover up some horrible abuse happening. So nice to see the kids are having a happy experience. Thank you for not exploiting them on camera as well
Even if you don't homeschool your children, you should try to have a designated study/homework area with supplies and snacks. Even if it's your kitchen table. It helps to have a structured learning environment to the best of your ability.
My household decided to do the same thing at the same time you did ! It’s been awesome! We just took a 2 1/2 week trip to Atlanta, Stone Mountain, Ga, and Orange Beach, Al. We visited Martian Luther Kings home, church, and museum. The aquarium in Atlanta is amazing. We took a ride to the summit of Stone Mountain, parasailing and jet ski in Alabama, and indoor skydiving. We saved for this trip because I wanted to include a little history and fun. We are planning a train trip in 2 years that follows the Underground Railroad. I’ve never been on a train before, so this will be exciting. It’s so many exciting things to do when you homeschool. My daughter has ADHD so I include a lot of hands on learning in our black history curriculum. My husband loves going on field trips with us. He gets mad if I do an exciting one day trip without him 😂. We visited a plantation last year, so he took a sick day to go😂. My mom goes sometimes too! Your setup is like mine. I have those small refrigerators in my SUV, my daughters snack area, and my husbands truck.
And because she decided to put the family first and not a career God blessed her business and allowed her to start several others! All the glory be to God! I love stories like this because I always tell ppl do the work to the moral high road and God will take care of the rest!

Mom and dad 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼, I salute you 🫡 for doing an amazing job raising your kids!
I would have loved to have the opportunity to homeschool my kids. I’m so proud of you, thanks for sharing ❤
God bless
Home School has come a long way 😮 Truly amazing, and a blessing for them to have parents so thoughtful. God bless you’re family❤
I’ve been homeschooling my children for 4+ years now and I’ve got my kids on the car and out the door for co-op, karate, dance, etc. it’s alot to make sure they get in front of others like I desire them to 😊
I love the kids' desk set ups with their mini-fridges. Wow! Travel homeschooling. That's great. 😊
Im just happy that they are homeschooled and get to be safe😊
wow, this is amazing. that set up? that food? absolutely incredible!!!!! the dedication and love ! wow, as a kid who never really had parents or anything nice growing up this makes me want to cry! so happy kids are getting such lovely things and being treated with such compassion. great job mom and dad! ❤❤❤❤ your kids will grow into such wonderful people 😊
I don't see why people care whether your kids are homeschooled or in public school, as long as they are happy and learning is all that matters
@@toabettertomorrow7949 If you're a flat earther and an anti vaxxer just say that.
@@babyfaceweeb8937sometimes a lot of stuff could happen but you don’t restrict peoples choices because someone somewhere could possibly make a bad decision
You have absolutely made the right decision. I wish all families could do this. I admire you. I'm not sure I was smart enough to homeschool when mynfirls was growing up
May God Bless your family.
I done both and I preferred homeschooling over public school education
I absolutely love love love seeing a parent doing better for their kids. Sadly not every family has a parent can stay home. It truly is a luxury.
My son just graduated yesterday, made the same decision after 2020, best decision ever for our family. ❤
Thank you for sharing your perspective and showing what’s possible🥲 God bless you
That’s a blessing! Cherish those memories cause yes time flies with kids!
Amazing & such a blessing! So happy for your kids to have parents that will make this level of sacrifice and recognize what's best for their kids/family! ❤
I could not do it, but I love that you are giving them the opportunity to see the world outside of a classroom ❤
You guys are the best parents ever. Thank you for raising beautiful human beings. Sending love and light from San Diego, California.
This is beautiful! I was homeschooled and I absolutely loved it!
Props to their school set up; love the mini fridges & the healthy snacks. I'll bet you let them choose their colors too.
@@skyannabananaagreed high school generally has gave me trauma uou coudnt pay me to go back there I 1000% would be homeschooling my kids to and don’t even get me started on how awful school is for mental health😭
Their set up is excellent!!! I think online school and outside activities is great. Congratulations 🎊 to you and your children. 💯❤
As long as they can be involved in extracurriculars and find meaningful friendships, whatever works for you. This seems great
And is that a guarantee with public schools?
@@JustKeepFightingOn lol right. I don't speak to a single person from my public school days. The older you get you learn you really only are friends with people because you spend so much time with them. If you change schools/get different jobs, unless both parties put in the effort, you're not gonna spend much time with the people ever again.
Kudos to you and your husband!! The partnership with family and finances and multiple streams of it, is very impressive.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
lol have you seen the state of public schools? If I had kids I would 100% would homeschool them. You can get them into activities and stuff to help them get a social life and stuff but at least for early school years I would do the same thing
The mini fridges & miniature bottles & containers are adorable. I want those.
So happy for your family 😊
Thank you 😊
I'm so happy for you all. Well done for taking your chance and looking after you kids well.😊
I wish I was homeschooled by you
I am so happy your family gets to have those wonderful experiences and memories.
I am so proud of you. You are doing what is so right for your children and for your family God be with you every step you take.
early! your voice is so unique i love it :)
Thanks 😊
Homeschooling my son is one of my favorite choices I ever made with his adhd and separation anxiety school didn’t seem viable at first now it’s just not necessary for us. He does so well, is smart and well adjusted and I love being able to take him to cool places for educational trips and it makes it much easier to travel 👌🏻 love the setup for the kids too we’re about to redo his room and he would love something similar. He already asked for a drink fridge like that😂
That's awesome!. May God Bless and Keep this Beautiful Family.❤
That’s amazing! I think of all the field trips that never happened for my generation bc of the recession. Relying on the government can truly be the worst, especially if you’re in a position to do better for yourself. Continued blessings to your family! ❤
What a beautiful blessing, I love this ,inspirational, keep going King and Queen, do it for those beautiful children ❤
It is wonderful that they homeschool sitting next to each other.❤
Wow what a beautiful neat idea.
Oh my goodness I love the vibe of this hardworking, creative, organized, innovative, and FUN family!
Basically holding us hostage to pretend he wants to be an active parent and my child is missing out on these kind of experiences😢
I'm glad your children are having an amazing childhood. They deserve it!
Awesome! That sounds great - very happy for you that your hard work paid off and you found a wonderful school, work, travel, family balance.
I wish I home schooled my two!! I love the classroom set up!!❤❤Keep up the great work family🙏🏽
I'm in the hospital in a crisis rn and it means a lot to hear how you care for your daughter. #sicklewarrior
Whenever a story of “homeschooling” gets into mainstream it’s usually because the parents wanted to cover up some horrible abuse happening. So nice to see the kids are having a happy experience. Thank you for not exploiting them on camera as well
I absolutely love this! You are doing what’s best for your children and your family. Keep doing what you’re doing Sis ❤
So beautiful. I bet they all going to the best university or owing their own business also. Good look. Love seeing supportive couples.
And because she decided to put the family first and not a career God blessed her business and allowed her to start several others! All the glory be to God! I love stories like this because I always tell ppl do the work to the moral high road and God will take care of the rest!
I love this! We homeschool our kids and we all love it. Thanks for sharing your experience 💕
That’s an awesome set up! Nothing wrong with home schooling. You guys are raising your own kids, that’s awesome!!!
And travelling etc is a FANTASTIC education, it is a great thing that parents are now able to travel/ home school their children.
