tbh as a lamb the rainbow era was a blessing even though her range was so limited, she sang basically the whole tour live (for the most part) which is crazy considering how tired she was, but it gave us hella creative moments

Mariah’s voice was tired and raspy from all the tours and shows she had done for 3 years consecutively. Her voice was very limited during this era but she still tried her best. Although on that last comment you made that if mariah sang like ariana her voice would be healthy, although that may be true, mariah’s voice is still very different from other singers. Her nodules affect her singing yet it helps her reach those high notes. Plus i want to add that ariana in most of these clips was singing with her mixed chest voice whereas mariah was singing with just her chest voice.

I get that your bias but you should put that aside and listen. I'm not saying you should always pick Mariah but you shouldn't always pick Ariana. Also a little fun fact, Mariah has nodules so it's harder and she has off days and during this era her voice was tired so singing when your tired makes your voice change.
