I, PERSONALLY, would always choose Celine. Not only because she's one of the most kind and humble person in this business but also vocally. I love the agility in her voice (ad libs / scatting like in Mr Paganini), the resonance and the way she takes you to heaven with her softness and blows you away the next minute with one of her power belts. I just love her!

Celine and Mariah are of the exact same era. Celine’s fans span generations/ages. I grew up loving them both. I prefer Celine now - I, alongside many, admire and respect her as a person. She’s not self-serving like a lot of others in the entertainment business.
I think this mentality of Celine’s music is for old people stems from her creating more classic-sounding timeless music vs trendy radio bops.

Y'all needa stop hating on Mariah, she is better than Celine and she has a lower voice naturally than Celine so she would have more ease! Y'all not gonna try and doubt/discredit Mariah for being "dubbed" when that wasn't her fault and some if not most of the Celine clips were lipped worse than dubbing.
It is easy to know who your opinions favor, since your attitude and way of expressing yourself are a clear example of a cheap copy of Mariah's attitude. At least she is a diva, on the contrary, I highly doubt that you have enough training or talent to say anything against both Celine and Mariah.
If you want this channel to have some type of impact you must:

😢For me its not only about the voice but overall. I prefer MC's tone/voice, kind of Music, her hits, technique, style, over all look, to name a few. There should be no contest, they are both different as any other female singers out there. I also like Ms. Celine, Ms. Whitney, Ms. Spears, Ms. Abdul, etc.

If its anything after1997 celine was just vocally superior after 1997 ...i love both though so im not gonna compare but i do tend to listen to more mariah songs than celine dion songs...although celine has much better notes than what was shown in these clips...the choices for mariah were questionable aswell since most of the clips shown were from dubbed audio but she has notes that are just as good from tv performances and tours... but as a lover of the trinity i dont want to compare them since they all outclass todays best singers anyway 😭
All Celine fans keep pointing on one performance where her nodules were flared up. Also I love Celine, but she’s nasally and she over sings. Mariah’s tone, power, raw soul and musicality is just unmatched
