    I watched a programme the other night about the inevitable existence of multiple universes. Assuming there is a Roger Federer in every one of them we should feel privileged we are in the one with the best!
    God bless you the GOAT.
    Have a happy retirement ❤️

    Great compilation of Roger’s genius. How does he make even digs look graceful? I love how the commentators are all like that is ridiculous because that’s how I feel too. I could watch him play his beautiful and genius game for hours and not get bored.

      Why see a player like him when there could be one better? Years will pass and people will develop a better sense of knowledge on the court. More and more generations will adapt and grow with practice and skills/knowledge passed on from player to player. I agree that no one will be like him but I also believe players are going to grow to be even better in skill and make tennis look even more effortless. But thats just my opinion.

    What made him the greatest was his talent. He got some shots on pure instinct that no one ever will be able to hit even after practice. That was the genius of Federer he didn't need long drawn out raliies to break his opponents down. He would just think of a shot and hit it on the spot.

    I think Roger just understands science better than the rest of us. He instinctively knows the angle his racquet head must be to pull off certain shots. It happens so fast and at different angles and positions on the court, you can only call it genius. He also has wonderful anticipation and deception. All of his opponents have hit a million balls, only Roger consistently pulls off these types of shots.

      @@DrMrPersonGuy That's a garbage "reason", not to be taken seriously. And a Federer fan like you to call the era Djokovic and Nadal played in as "weak" is hilarious. Federer's era, where he racked up so many of his titles, was the true weak era. Everyone knows it. There's a reason he stopped winning titles on a consistent basis when Nadal and Novak came into their primes and it wasn't the age. Nadal and Novak are in their mid going to late 30s and still dominating the sport. So you can toss that bullshit excuse right out.

    The 40th video title exaggerating Roger's gifts. Defying science did not happen; you are seeking either to connect with or capitalize on people's emotions due to his goodbye.
    I loved to see him play. And he may be the GOAT as so many people think he is. But it is steadfastness, vulnerability and maturity that is commendable to me; not the idea someone has put aside laws of physics.
    Is he more praiseworthy than anyone else who put in the same amount of effort but was unable to score so much?

    • @anadiaz2457
      @anadiaz2457 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, fucking obviously.
      Genius, performance, and achievement matter too. Lots of artists put in much more effort than Picasso or Da Vinci have done. Steadfastness and effort are great, but to ignore genius, talent, achievement, etc is silly.
      Michael Jordan golfed and gambled and ran businesses and played baseball. There are many basketball players who put in more singular effort at their craft than he did. But they never accomplished his heights.

    These pitches that claim athletic moves by well trained athletes are magic or violate physics are so lame, pushing the idea that training yourself is useless, and only some kind of wizard can do these. So, best anyone can do is go play video games.
    In particular, screw the Brit commentator channel used by most of these, with his “can’t teach” BS.

    Stupid title - tennis exists because of physics - scientific laws explain the dynamics of tennis technique - Federer's shots are based on science (physics) - nothing defies science (except the stupidity of the guy who makes up nonsensical titles for his YT channel)
