That's amazing. I was searching for a patters like this to replace safty eyes especially for toys for small children. Approximately what size are they in MM. Thank you.
For very small children I would still suggest safety eyes as they are secured inside of your project. I made these with embriodery thread/floss. They are small spheres approximately 1.5cm in diameter. Size can vary, depending on your thread, hook size and tension. NOTE: As they are stitched on, they can be a choking hazard for small children.
Thank you for this! I didn’t have any safety eyes so I’m m so happy I made this you saved my bee 🐝

You can difinately use it on toys made for bigger kids who don’t have a habit of putting things in their mouths.
Fantastic tutorial ❣❣❣thank you
Thank you for watching 😊🥰
May I know what hook you are using?
Hi Jenny, I used a thread hook size 1.5mm/US 8. This hook size works perfect with my embroidery threads/floss.
Could you repost this video, as it won't play.. I'm half way thru, and I really want these eyes 😁 thanks
Hi, I’ve just changed the settings as public view. Try it now. Let me know if it works now 😊
Its working.. thankyou so much, can't wait to see your next creation 🤗
This world be great if done with larger weight yarn.
Hi Kathy, yes it can be done in any weight yarn as per the project requires.
@@purpletulipworkshop1856 I ment if you redid your viedo in a larger weight so it would be easier to see what you are doing.
Oh, you meant that. Yes, sure, I’ll try to remake another one with a fingering weight yarn soon. Thanks for the feedback and advice. 😊😊
What size crochet hook for eyes
Hi @maryjaneflint8037, I’m sorry for the late response. I used a 1.5mm crochet hook with the embriodery threads.
