Beautiful eyes. I’ve been waiting for these to come out. Instead of weaving in your white end and cutting you could use that end to do the pupil highlight before securing and trimming. Thank you
I've been wanting to make amigurumi patterns but don't like the plastic eyes. So this tutorial is timely. These eyes are perfect. I just made a pair watching your video. Thanks so much for sharing!!
I just bought your book and my first animal is the elephant. My friend is doing a jungle themed nursery and I plan on making all the jungle animals in your book. Since these will be for a newborn, I was worried about using the plastic eyes and was planning on attempting to stitch some on. These are perfect! They may be a bit big but I'm thinking I could try using 6 sc of the black for starters and see how big they come out. I'm so excited to work on these. Thank you for the online tutorials. They are super helpful, especially for learning the magic ring.
Thank you for this pattern and video. These are perfect for me to use on items I donate to our local Children Hospital and other places where the items are for children.
I have been looking for something like this. Thank you. My only wish is that you could go a bit slower as I need to see everything so I understand it better. It is a simple pattern though so it was fairly easy.
So cute.. can u make those smaller ?. If I use cotton with 2.0 needle.. how big are they then? U still need 10 in the magic ring? Or can u do 6.. then go to 12. And third round again 12.. ?
Thank you so much Sarah! These eyes are so adorable and easy to make. They can be used on so many things. I have made your sea turtle and jellyfish with them. My Grandaughter loves them. Keep up with more sea creature patterns please! Howabout a clown fish?
These are great
You can make them as big or small as your amigurumi project
Now I feel confident making toys for my grandson
I love these and it's a simple pattern that can be downsized to make smaller ones I can't wait to try
hi, i am new to crocheting - how do you downsize? just a smaller yarn and needle like going up in size, or do you have to do math?
@00zarzu00 so how I downsized it was just cut everything in half. So insted of 10 in the mr I only did 5 and so on
I enjoy making the eyes. Diane Scott
Thank you for this video. I don't like using safety eyes, so this is a perfect solution for me.
Same 😊
Sarah WOW super cool 😎 ❤those eyes great toot!
Thankyou for sharing this with us. Very exciting
Not only is your work amazing but it's simple to follow along with even with how fast you go. Honestly your speed is impressive!
Beautiful eyes. I’ve been waiting for these to come out.
Instead of weaving in your white end and cutting you could use that end to do the pupil highlight before securing and trimming.
Thank you
Thats exactly what i thought. Weave the tail thru on the back to where you want and there you have it. Two less ends to deal with.
Thank you so much for these beautiful eyes

Lindos los ojitos
Love this idea!!! Do you have a pattern for maybe some smaller ones as well or a direction to go for a smaller set?
That would be awesome
I just made a pair that are smaller. Used a finer yarn and a smaller hook size.
So cute.. can u make those smaller ?. If I use cotton with 2.0 needle.. how big are they then? U still need 10 in the magic ring? Or can u do 6.. then go to 12. And third round again 12.. ?

These are awesome! Would you recommend less in Magic circle for smaller versions? Mc-6 then 12 etc?
How do you make different sizes. Can you also shoe noses and a mouth
Fantastic
You can change hook sizes and or thinner yarns
You could leave your black ring open. Finish as directed and slip it over a safety eye. Right?
Tq..I want to make doll eye. It's more safety
From taking classes and making cloth dolls I've always been told the reflections are called a catch lights.
I love these eyes, I'm using them on everything, I really don't like the safety eyes. THANK YOU 🌻
cool, thanks!
Me gusta su trabajo podría darle en español
how would this work on almond shaped eyes? also a mix of grey and hazel as well?
Can you show a video on how you sew them on your project? Or explain it to me. Thanks!
I'm making a Granny Square blanket and want to put these eyes on it. Do you have a video to show how to attach to a blanket?
Theses are so so cute 🥰 love it 😍 ❤❤❤🧶🧶🧶
Hi, newbie here. How do you attach the eyes? Do you use the white yarn tail and go around with a needle?
Is there a way to start them with a chain? I’m horrible at making a magic circle
What malkes the eye shiny
❤
What size are the eyes when you use these amount of stitches?💜
Is thear a way to make them smaller
Use smaller yarn/hook
I love these, but they are so big. I need some that would be equivalent to a 12mm-16mm safety eye.
Following
I bet you could accomplish that using a 3 weight yarn and an E or F hook.
