I was almost a victim of homeo treatment as a kid. I won't blame anybody for that now as nobody knew it was pseudo science. In 80s , aged between 7-9, I suffered from appendicitis pblm. Whenever I used to get pain, we used to go to homeo doctor. They used to give medicine from the clinic. The pain used to continue for few hours and then gradually diminishes. During my 4th std summer vacation, one day I got unbearable pain and parents had to take me to the nearest pediatrician. He checked and realised the seriousness and immediately requested to take me to medical College. I was operated and the surgeon said the appendix was in the verge to rupture and would've been a life threatening situation. Even after that for many years I have consulted homeo for Tonsillitis. Took their medications for many years. Later removed thru surgery. No more Homeo.
How many people killed by wrong precription modern medicine or it severe side effeck? Answer: Thousands a year. How many people killed by homeo remedy? Answer: Nil.

Proper law should be endorsed to avoid practising parallel medicine. Unfortunately, the government of India and Kerala are not even bothered of these unscientific practices. It can't be considered as a fault though because the scientific temper in politics and administration in the country is minimal or average, and are abided by religious thoughts. But it's time for awareness and scientific education. There's only one medicine and that's modern medicine. It's not even righteous to call the other ways as medicine. If it's studied, analysed, experimented and proved by evidence it obviously become modern medicine. Until then, they are just pseudo science, and need to neglect them unconditionally.

I think you didn't all basic knowledge about medicine, so you are not confident about homoeopathic system and don't know about homoeopathic medicine and don't know how to treat patients with medicine ,homoeopathic system is evidence based medicine, eg 5mm renal (kidney stone)calculus can be passed through renal system according to text books of medicine more than that have to be removed by surgery ,but how many cases you want to see more than 5mm e.g. about more than 1cm is passed with giving homoeo medicine (evidence based ultrasound scan before treatment, during treatment and after treatment) so called modern medicine doctors are referring cases to us after seeing very good results, how many times do you do surgery for recurrent stone formation in kidney in people? What about multiple exotosis in bones (excess bone growth in multiple site in bones)what is the treatment in so called modern medicine? It is only surgery ,how many sites you will do surgery?still he will develop bone growth in other sites ,please discover good medicines for such condition ,why scientific society is lacking behind , people will come to you for treatment ,central govt fund can be utilised to develop science,why you are so jealous? You can also utilize central govt fund to study efficacy of homoeopathic medicine and try to find it is effective or not ,and publish in so called scientific journal LANCET

Proper law should be endorsed to avoid practising parallel medicine. Unfortunately, the government of India and Kerala are not even bothered of these unscientific practices. It can't be considered as a fault though because the scientific temper in politics and administration in the country is minimal or average, and are abided by religious thoughts. But it's time for awareness and scientific education. There's only one medicine and that's modern medicine. It's not even righteous to call the other ways as medicine. If it's studied, analysed, experimented and proved by evidence it obviously become modern medicine. Until then, they are just pseudo science, and need to neglect them unconditionally.
