The spiritual qoute about spending time with your family for a week was so true. I was healing my childhood trauma during the lockdown in my parents house. Although people say its better to do it in a safe space away from toxic people, being exposed to these people who unintentionally caused my trauma was eyeopening because I get triggered but became more aware, journal it, meditated on it and building bounderies around those triggers. My relationship with family actually got better than ever , I realized they are also victims of generational trauma and I got to know when to emotionally detach when they get triggered. This is a case to case basis though, if your family is abusive physically, emotionally and sexually, no contact maybe better for you.
Will's podcasts are underrated. I like that he ventured to these type of vlogs. These are the things we want to listen to when we want to learn something or when we are going through something. Keep this up Will! Thanks, man!
I can listen to her all day :) :) when you experienced hard times yourself, and found yourself picking up the pieces and slowly realizing that mental health is a big factor of our whole being, then you can truly appreciate this kind of conversation. ;)
Super agree with the "family is the closest to you and you can be easily triggered by them" part. All along I thought I was spiritual enough to go on with life esp pre pandemic. But when I stayed home with my fam, there's the other side of reality where uncontrollable things are much more greater than those I can - and those really crippled me for a time! But just like what Maxene said, its really about surrendering everything to God to deal with these situations 🙏 Praise God for your life, Maxene! Keep inspiring others! Kudos to Wil as well for great content!🙏
Wil thank you for having Maxine in your podcast . The universe used her to get through to me to move forward with my spiritual journey. She affirmed the little tiny hints the higher being was dropping/ hinting in my path and I wasn’t paying attention to it. I’ve seen this episode several times during the week and I wasn’t really paying attention until today-- I stopped open my podcast and I’m hooked!!! Maxine I wish you best and I’m Looking forward to being in the same spiritual peace and journey with you. Please continue to be the vessel of love and light .
I am not really a big fan of Maxine Magalona until I watched this vlog. All of what she told in this video are true and very inspiring especially the time when she said that "family are the closest people to you" very true, we think the same.
i never knew she was this outspoken and eloquent.. and i kinda relate to her coz recently i also got into meditation and watching yogi and Hindu stuff which others may find weird. but hey, if this is where i find inner peace and calmness, why not.
How could you not know?! She got that from his father the late legendary king of rap in the Philippines Mr. Francis Magalona also known as Francis M ☮️
of course i knew dude! thats y i put it there "lyrical" beast coz this would equate to most rappers n since his dad is a legend of that field, cmon dude cant u read between the lines? thats what makes my comment more interesting! Fyi i grew up in the 80s n basically have all the casette tapes n CDs Francis M put out
More vlogs with Maxene pls. I love listening to her and how she sees the world regardless of her mental health problems. And she speaks good English too 💖❤
The massage of miss Magalona can be transform into a song lyrics.. if only her father is still alive he can transform that in to another meaningful song, Francis M the great song writer.

I dont know her,but hearing her message is so enlightening. I think of spiritual journey too after my retirement.
You can start it now, you don't have to wait for retirement, no one knows what lies ahead of us.
