Once upon a time, someone said it's better for the children to leave and go to Ethiopia. It was Dr. John Garang de Mabior. That was 1987 and commanders across Southern Sudan executed his orders. I remember commander Koul Manyang Juuk ordering to have a father who refused to give up his son whipped in Makolcuei. I remember that scenario very well.
