F160 is certainty a new funny addition to the game
Jets have changed from being a ground striker to just a fighter jet vs jet . The stealth will sometimes help. Non the less... We will see jet griefing a lot less
Fun indeed, I was killing a griefer in the middle of the city and everytime I shoot a rocket at them, I go stealth mode and they keep looking at every building trying to see me 💀

@@xDerHunterHeli During my days of playing and actually pvp'ing against griefers...i just used to be 90% on the ground.More often than not people who use a vic aren't as great on the ground fight,which mainly consists of furiously smashing A and D and then point-and-click adventure
But on the topic of rockets...yes they are and the farther you fire the rocket the more dopamine you get if you kill

Im fine with the cannons being weak. I love dogfights and the fact that they can now last more than 5 seconds is amazing for me. The design is beautiful, great handling, vtol, and rockets seem to be centered thus hitting ground targets seems very viable. Definitely will buy. Great video! Thanks a lot m8
Exactly what I was thinking. Though it wouldn’t be good in a 1v1 where the opponent can easily jump out or ewo, dogfighting is going to be way more fun and forgiving now.

I am glad it struggles against people on foot. Especially with stealth making it much easier to pick your battles.
It’s great for skilled dog players though I’ve been using it to get more people on the ground with the missiles and vetol

Now the dogfights will be a little different considering that now they are better balanced, however the Savage still keeps the old explosive turret and I think it will take more force than before!

Actually I don't consider savage having the old cannon as a problem as it's actually very big, bulky and kind of hard to control as is heavy. Easy target actually so yeh, not that big of a deal
An opressor mk 2 can easily DESTROY a savage and since everyone has opressor mk 2 added to the fact that you can call it instantly makes the savage useless.
@@denisofGOW I really think that more griefers are going to return to the opressor mk 2 their mortal enemy (lazer) is off the map now chaos will reign because now there is no real counter to that mosquito
Savage would require too much skill to be a common griefer tool, its cannons don't have the old jet range either so if you are in a Heli that climbs faster you can quite easily dodge the death beam and maybe just bomb it
I REALLY appreciate a good player talking about the maneuverability of this aircraft. I saw countless people talking about the shaking, but when you see the videos, they are afterburning 24/7. I had my fair share of dogfights on other planes and i am no Maverick, i would consider myself below avarage when compared to the majority of the dogfighters out there, and i still managed to control the plane nicely, i really don't get why people are bothered by the shaking when they don't seem to know how to use the airbrakes. VTOL mode is super awesome, managed to accomplish some very cool stunts so far. The stealth factor is a huge advantage in my case, as i like to help other players whenever i can with cargo, missions and stuff, and being able to approach a player trying to attack a cargo or something in those lines, it is very useful. It can be a VERY strong aircraft in the right hands.

I like how they nerfed jet cannons, now you actually need to be accurate instead of just spraying a death laser everywhere. And if you aim for flaps, rudders, and ailerons, you don’t need to hit the jet a million times. Blow some control surfaces off and their jet is dead in the air.
Great gameplay showcasing this new jet. You did great but your points in the video were a little off and id like to explain why.
The jet brings a lot to the table and will change gta online big time
1. Weak cannons - this is an air combat fighter not meant to hit targets on the ground at all. The cannons are meant to be used against air vehicles. You mentioned that the cannons are to weak for air combat too which brings me to my next topic
2. Turning radius - As you showcased in the video, the air craft has huge turning advantages in comparison to other air craft. Due to this they HAD to weaken the cannons or dog fights would never even exist. This jet would destroy EVERYTHING with its turning ability on the sky. So weaker cannons make sense.
3. " Stealth mode" - in an air to air situation, if you can use stealth mode to position yourself against another aircraft. By the time you switch to weapins mode and out of stealth mode, the other aircraft your fighting is going to be in a bad situation. So stealth mode makes great sense with air to air combat and will be VERY effective for dog fighting.
You talk about this jet like its supposed to be like the old hydra/lazer. Treat it like an air to air vehicle and youll love it i promise.

The F-160 has 2 very interesting things: the first is that its deceleration speed in ground attacks (without activating the Vtol mode) is fast, it picks up a lot of speed going down even when trying to control it, and the second is that its aim it is not centralized and has a very strange precision, which is good and bad at the same time, but in Vtol mode the missions are still great to use it, it balances the use in missions and leaves it reasonably weak in PvP or ground attack, very interesting.
After 10 years, many fights, a lot destruction and chaos. The Lazer can finally rest and retire.

Bro you're complaining about the cannons being as therefore making it useless for dogfighting yet the previous best dogfighters were the pyro and the starling both of which had non-explosive guns. This jet is more on par with the b11, its not for ground attacks, its for fighting other jets, and with it's absurd turn radius, all it takes is 2-3 turns to finish off another jet, it just feels longer because you're used to turning 20 times with a lazer, and then finishing off your enemy in one run when in reality the raiju is faster

I love the jet it makes dogfighting way more fun, you have to actually keep the nose on the target for a while, so no insta death. For ground targets the rockets work better
Context: all jets have the same rate of fire and range for their explosive mg. It's not specific to raiju, it's a nerf this update
I fell like the a-10 will be the best as its very good with killing ground and air targets also same with all the dogfighting props like seabreese, pyro, starling ext
Thats false all of the jets have different fire rates the b11 and rouge did not change the lazer hydra and F-160 have now the same cannons that still fire faster than the b11 and rouge
@@__Nordic can confirm; B-11’s explosive cannon fire rate remained unchanged. Any existing jets that had “meme” cannon are nerfed into oblivion. Unless there’s a unified community demanding it back and possibly add it to Rajin, it stays out.

Well to me if it had the cannons like the lazar it would definitely be a bit op. But it definitely looks very fun and handles amazing. I think overall it’s just more for fun and stunts.
It's worth to mention it's actually interesting for PVE and grind since it has the VTOL and stealth

I was waiting for this more than my birthday.
It's a good jet for grinding and cargo transportation. Also has a sick design and with a little practice can take down things like avenger and such. Really good on vehicles but people not so much. The reason I think it does less damage is because of the cannons firing 1 after another unlike the hydra and Lazer thar fire both cannons in succession. Overall I like it and it's new lol.

Good review of the jet, I personally like it, I am not really a good dog fighter, but managed to destroy 2 these new jets flying in the same jet, also since it’s freaking fast i started using it in grinding lol and broomsticks cannot catch up nor see me on a map now 😁 yeah, the cannon is not that good for ground targets so I use missiles as well. Also I love how it looks, especially with that camo livery 😩

I have a proposal for a buff that I think would give some power back to the jets while not being broken. Every jet has a range in which they can land shots, for the lazer it is about 200 m, well why not give the OG canon back to the jets but combine it with a b11 canon, this would be done in the next way. At 50 or 100 meters, the lazers would shoot the OG canon, and from 100 m to 200 m, the bullets would have a “dispersion” similar to what a shotgun has, and in that range the canon would act as the b11 canon. That way, the air to air combat is balanced and you can finish someone off. This would force jet users to strafe ground targets and not dive bomb them, bc if they dive bombed them, they wouldn’t be able to climb back up and crash. Everyone knows how dangerous strafing can be for a jet pilot,specifically at low altitudes and with the addition of the rail gun. This would allow ground targets to fight back.
Bro, it's not a ground attack aircraft, simple as that. The cannons are pretty usefull in dogfights, they're just not instantaneous. Not everything has to be a spawnkill machine like the old lazer. Basically, it's not a tryhard aircraft, it's pretty well balanced.
Its a shitole DLC where theres not more ground attack aircraft, now the unic way to kill someone in the ground with aircraft its using barrage missils from strikeforce. But I prefer to use non guided missils from opressor mk2

I bought it because it's super fun and when you get good at it your able to out compete most aircraft, handy for 1v1 with a midrange mk2 user amazing to counter hydra and Lazer in proper situations but mainly just mega fun to fly!
I personally like it it's fun to dogfight in so with my experience so far but I hope they improve the cannons
I've been taking jets out all morning and noon with this thing. Most of them never knew I was behind them.
Yeah, the cannons suck, but if you can keep and concentrate fire on target you can get em, and follow up with a missile for assurance..
This happened to me several times when I did air cargo in my hydra. Absolute sitting duck when one of these is stalking you and even if you get the initial escape it's also more agile than the Lazer or Hydra so you're really up against it. Shame really that they gave it such good handling because that would've been the perfect balance.
Way I see it, this is solely an aerial superiority aircraft.
Not made for killing, but rather for being the last remaining plane in the sky.
The lazer has a much smaller turning circle so the lazer is much better in dogfights

The vtol tactic in a df looks amazing and cool
Well UVP cockstar did nurff the cannons on both the laser and hydra as well! If not mistaken they also made the cannons on the laser and hydra alternating fire patterns too!
I bought the jet and found in normal dog fights throughout the session I could easily take out the opponent despite the weaker guns and found stealth mode nice as a little surprise against your enemy or if you wanted to turn it on and dive or go straight up to lose your opponent
a tip when you try to hit ground targets open the wheels and slow down then start diving but make sure to do so when right above him so he can't do anything then you can be able to just hit him with rockets
If you're having trouble killing ground targets just go into hover using buildings as cover (and stealth mode) then knock them over with the cannons then shoot a missile. Hope this helps!

I get what ur saying about the price versus what you get reguarding this ryju jet. But here's my thing compared to what you get with the laser jet the engines upgrade and armor upgrades with the ryju makes it more worth it to me over the laser especially considering that when Rockstar introduced this ryju jet they totally nurffed the firing pattern and effectiveness from the hydra and laser and gave all the jets the same fire rate and pattern as the Rouge.
What I like more about this new jet is that its so loud that even them in stealth mode, you can hear it incoming
It’s definitely a game changer, being able to change to vtol mode so fast mid dogfight and being able to use it to your advantage is so great. Takes a while to master tho
Надо наработать статистику. Устраивать например по 25 воздушных боёв ф160 против лейзера или противв-11. В лобовой атаке теперь с 1 попадания убить нельзя, думаю это соревнование будет интересным. Моя субъективная оценка: с большим отрывом в11 займет 1 место, потому что броня 6 ракет до взрыва, плюс более маневренные ракеты, град, дипольные отражатели. Ф160 будет наравне с лейзером с небольшим перевесом, так как на поворотах можно делать вертикальный взлет, но по вертикали так не сделать. А вообще сюда надо добавить севадж, у которого не пофиксили разрывные и Хантер, они заиграют новыми красками, потому что их теперь нельзя взорвать с первых попаданий.

They will probably start attacking players and when an F-160 appears they will try to hit them head on and if they don't kill them, they will do the speed glitch until they get far enough away to turn around and try again, like this in a loop.
This is what I would expect if they used the neurons in the brain, but of course we already know that this is something difficult for them.
unguided missiles are pretty good on this one since they fire out centered It eas frustrating on pyro when u got the left or right missile and missed because of it

@@kevinbutler1173 yea i tried to catch up to F160 with my pyro to kill it but couldn't do it. It seemed to go just as fast as i did at least at a time when we were both flying low (not above the clouds).
its speed and maneuverability compensate for the weak cannons in dog fights. I would gladly have to hit my enemy a few more times if that means they cant hit me at all. Regarding ground targets I dont think we necessarily want it to be good against people on the ground, no? I think the jet is pretty balanced considering it doesn't overshadow the other jets but still has its uses.
Well i fugured that if i start to go down to strave someone i clap out my landing gear and press my brakes half way trough 😅
And it realy helps.. at least thats what i feel like when doing it.
I also stopt using the mg i free aim homings now cuz that is stil a 1shot if you hit it near him
This is definitely a counter to other air vehicles that would normally give trouble to Hydras and Lazers.
Tbh I think they added the slow cannons and less powerful because of they didn't then they would probs get alot of complaints. Even that like if your getting griefed it's much harder to grief now. I think they did this for the sake of stopping griefing
Its kinda a game changer for me since i enjoy using some of the older planes in game. Mostly the p45, the molotok, and hydra. I played yesterday with my molotok minding my own business and got fucking jumpscared by the new plane with its stealth ability 🤣

My opinion These cannons should be more precise against ground targets and should do more dmg to them the same to armored vehicles . But against other air vehicles it feels better because you got more realistic and longer air fights.

I always used the lazer and hydra for work and grinding, and since they nerfed the cannons now my missions are much harder, i hate it and makes me progress longer and boring
As a Laser jet tryhard (with hundreds of hours of experience and spaun killing UVersusPro) I think that the new F-35 jet is a game changer because in air to air combat you can activate the stealth mode you can fly behind your enemy while you are permanently off the radar.
In air to ground mode you can activate the stealth mode with a thermal vision helmet and right before you do a precision strike with a missile you go out of the stealth mode and right after you shot the missile you go back to stealth mode. This way when the opponent revives he doesn't know where you are and you can do on him an another missile strike.

If you have headphones it is pretty easy to hear where the jet is. The stealth mode would still be useful in that way against the majority of people tho.

Remember people Thermal Glitched Jets are not a feature, and isnt something you should gauge normal gameplay off of.

So i can agree the jet might not be the best. But if you played for a long time, have the money. Buy it. I own every aircraft. Maybe if you are looking for a new plane. The hydra is a good start
Lets be honest, the best plane for ground targets is the B11. Since yk, the A10 that it’s inspired by is an air support vehicle.
Also the canons on it need a buff. Just a slight damage buff and maybe increasing range of explosions by like 5-6 meters.

im pretty sure such low damage isnt intentional and they will probably buff the damage as they probably meant this jet to be stronger than lazer and also since u get alot less time to shoot cuz of higher speed ...they will probably adjust damage for both and hitting the ground think is just a learning curve we will have to adapt to since we used slower lazer and hydra
It is, It far better balances out the aircraft. Dogfights are slightly longer, and the air to air fighter no longer dominates the ground attack role.

The rockets are centered. Just use thermal on console or learn the map and where they could be standing according to mini map
That you can't see the Gunshots of that new Jet is a new bug that (eventually) gets fixed in 8 months as we know Rockstar the more important bugs that could be a threat to the Game aren't as important to Rockstar as any sort of Money abuse glitch....

It's good that the jet has weak cannons makes dog fighting interesting and eventful and means that ur not spawn locked on the ground anymore and the hitting the ground part is a skill issue
The damage the cannons do to players is unrealistic.
@WasAngryAzula yeah the they don't do enough to players but if I choose the weapons I would have choose better tracking missiles and normal mgs
im playing hangar mission with f160, and this jet received 2 explosive ammo shots (a ground player trying grief), but the aircraft dont exploded or smoke, just a small motor failure and keeps flying almost perfect. Next session i'm trying drift in airport and a player tried attack me using F160 in Vtol mode, 2 shots of railgun destroyed him, and after kill him a few times of sniper (using regular sniper to kill him, hes used explosive ammo but miss all shots XD ) hes give a rage quit and left session. 🤣🤣

Грустно осознавать что теперь,для выноса Найта или Авенджера потребуется около 8-10 заходов... Думаю что б-11 будет метой из-за его брони. Считай опарыши довольны этим обновлением,сбить их с джета будет гораздо сложнее.
Для опарышей есть машина с глушилкой и си4 , у опарыша нет просто шансов от слова совсем

Its not, lazer doesn't have anti lock systems, drop bombs, or good manouvrability like b11 starling or pyro, it doesn't have also the durability of b11 or speed of pyro. The only good thing was the cannons, now they are gone

hydra is gonna be best for ground kills coz the cannons are much closer together also it takes 3 rail gun hits
