About a week ago I went XC with a couple of friends, we'd just finished a little course and decided to go for a gallop. I was midway through a "Woo - Hoo!!" when a fly flew into my mouth and I fell off because I couldn't breathe properly. One of the most embarrassing but funny moments of my life. Also, Sharpie is an absolute tank!
Wow. What I found interesting is at this speed you never had to get him off his head. He was so quick to twist himself over that 1st combination. He is developing into a xcountry machine. And ye make it look easy. À potential Superstar in the making.🇮🇪☘🇮🇪☘🇮🇪
Yes! This was the first time I didn’t have to tell him “head up” I feel like he responded so well to the bigger atmosphere and also stayed really balanced through a fair amount of terrain. I love this boy so much!!
You are my hero. Blessed. I fell and get to live again through your helmet cams. You are an amazing woman. Training, vocal clarity in communication in all videos. You are my favorite rider for an Olympic gold. Would love to see you in Calif. eventing when my neck is fixed. Ms Erin
Looked like a fun course; it went all over the place! Great job to both of you. Must be fun to compete with your dad! (Mine is unfortunately quite allergic.)
Has your international star system changed in the USA? Just wondering if this is old 1*? Really class riding though, it can sometimes be hard when they make a mistake like that to lose confidence but he seemed to learn from it and keep confident. Really well done, next advanced horse there!!
Why do people dislikes these videos? I don’t get it, I mean if you have a proper reason not to like it then dislike it and maybe leave a tiny comment if you have to, but if you just don’t like the video then don’t watch it?! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
How do you keep them sound and happy? I often here that the racers get arthiritus etc early due to early workload and then they go on to be w eventers. Do You ever get issues with them? He’s so fast he’s great xxx
Danielle King I’m obviously not Elisa but I know many event riders shave the tails for the dressage so the judges can see the horses body and movement better

What a beautiful run. Even his mistake was great , he is FAST!
I love when the water droplet slowly slid down the camera with the strides. Also lovely ride and wonderful horse
I agree, he hasn't escaped at his potential. So strong and fast! He takes off over fences without missing a beat, even when he is slightly off course.
Edit hasn't reached.

LOVED watching that. You flew round there. Brilliant 😎

Yes, it is an international system so it changed in the US
Ugg. Yes it has. It’s dumb. But I’m trying ;)

He seems to have a smooth jump
lovely
How do you keep them sound and happy? I often here that the racers get arthiritus etc early due to early workload and then they go on to be w eventers. Do
You ever get issues with them? He’s so fast he’s great xxx
I work very closely with my vet and farrier, massage therapist, and chiro. They are high level athletes and have to be treated as so.
What brand of bridle are you using? The crown piece looks so comfy!
Ovation. Fancy stitch jump bridle.
@@WallaceEventing how many horses do you own
Awesome!
Hey Elisa, congrats on a great round! I have a question about your horse's tails. Do you shave them at the top? And if so, why? Thanks!
Danielle King I’m obviously not Elisa but I know many event riders shave the tails for the dressage so the judges can see the horses body and movement better
Did you ever find your bell boot?
Yep!
Anybody else play the “what jump next?” Game in their head?😂
Question: What type of bit do you use on him or do you just a plan snaffle?
He goes in a 2ring Waterford.
@@WallaceEventing What's your opinion on this bit? I'm looking for one, for a horse that is stubbern headed.
Alexandria Riviere it works for sensitive horses that lean.
@@WallaceEventing Thank you so much!
Sharpnado!
Amazing x
What do you think about boche bits?
i competed here too last month actually
Go sharpie!
He,s a machine/
Hi
Can you tech me how to ride
Thats what for riding instructors are.
Most 5 star event riders don't teach beginner lessons. They expect you to have your own horse(s) and be competing/ready to compete.
Breed?
You should of turned the cam off after the event, all the talking stopped me from sharing, sorry
